There have been new developments in the rape allegations made by an Alabama woman regarding Jay-Z and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

The woman came forward earlier this week accusing the two men of sexually assaulting her when she was just 13 years old, claiming the ‘catastrophic event’ occurred in a limo ride following the MTV Music Awards in 2000.

She further claimed that the pair gave her a drink that made her feel strange before allegedly assaulting her. However, the woman’s lawyers have now acknowledged there were some inconsistencies in her account.

The comments, which were initially relayed to NBC News, are ones the woman, known only as ‘Jane Doe’, said she ultimately stands by, however she said: ‘I have made some mistakes’ in the account of the incident which allegedly occurred 24 years ago.

According to NBC’s initial reporting of the alleged incident, Doe claimed she was dropped off at the VMAs in New York’s Radio City Music Hall by a friend and tried to obtain a ticket for the event or get an invite to an after-party.

She said she approached various limousine drivers and was told by one he worked for Combs and ‘fit what Diddy was looking for.’

Later in the evening, she claims the driver transported her to a white house with a U-shaped drive and on arrival signed what she believed was a non-disclosure agreement.

When she entered the party she said it was full of celebrities and people doing drugs and was offered a drink which made her feel ‘woozy, lightheaded and felt [like] she needed to lie down.’

After consuming the drink, she claims Combs and Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, entered the room she was resting in and Combs said: ‘You are ready to party.’

Doe alleges Carter then removed her clothes and raped her while an unnamed female celebrity looked on.

She claims Combs also raped her while Carter and the female celebrity watched. After the alleged incident, Doe claimed she went out into the after-party where she alleged she told Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden that she had been assaulted.

She also claimed her father picked her up from the party after the alleged assault.

NBC News has reported there are a number of inconsistencies in Doe’s story, including her father stating he did not pick her up after the alleged sexual assault and that Madden was not in New York at the time of the alleged incident.

Furthermore, the news outlet reports that images from the night Doe claimed she was assaulted show Carter and Combs at an after-party different to the one she had described.

The high profile music mogul’s exact whereabouts for the whole evening remain unknown.

Carter, who has denied the allegations, responded to the inconsistencies, telling NBC: ‘This incident didn’t happen.’

Taking aim at the woman’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, who is representing more than a dozen of Combs’ alleged victims, he added: ‘and yet he filed it in court and doubled down in the press.’

‘True Justice is coming. We fight FROM victory, not FOR victory. This was over before it began. This 1-800 lawyer doesn’t realize it yet, but, soon,’ he said.

Buzbee responded by confirming he is fact checking Doe’s claims.

It comes after Carter shared a lengthy statement denying the allegations made against him.

His legal representative, Alex Spiro, also denied the allegations and said Carter has ‘never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone –man or woman, adult or minor.’

On Monday morning, Carter and his team also filed a motion, asking the judge to make the accuser reveal herself in a move that they believe would be ‘fair’.

Metro has contacted Carter’s rep for comment.
