One Hollywood hunk has undergone a wild transformation to the point of being unrecognisable in his latest role.

While he typically sports a shaved head and isn’t often seen without his signature sunglasses, the actor is rocking a set of luscious grey locks for the new character.

A newly released photo shows the wrestling legend with wavy grey tresses that sit on his shoulder, as he also has a thicker beard and wears a vibrant outfit.

Have you figured out who it is?

It may surprise you to learn that it’s none other than Dave Bautista, who plays Eddie in The Last Showgirl.

Slated for release in February 2025, the drama movie also stars Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Kiernan Shipka.

With the Baywatch beauty taking the lead, The Last Showgirl tells the story of a seasoned showgirl who must plan for her future when her show unexpectedly closes after a 30-year run.

As for Eddie, he’s Shelly’s ex-lover and works as a manager at The Razzle Dazzle club in the Gia Coppola-directed flick.

Latest images capture Bautista, 55, in full character, donning a garish printed shirt and brown leather jacket, tattoos on display.

He appears pensive while looking off into the distance, hands in his pockets and wispy hair framing his moody-looking face.

The picture was shared on Instagram, where fans flocked to the comments section in their hundreds to unite in disbelief at Bautista’s image overhaul.

‘Makeup artist killed it, looks natural as hell 🔥’, praised officialmielz.

‘Damn, Batista rocking that hair style, it’s like a completely different person’, said wybredny.okularnik.

Comparing him to another star of the big screen, ali_zebracorner wrote: ‘I thought that was Lou Diamond Phillips at first’.

Others urged him to ‘keep the hair’, with pro-wrestling033 complimenting: ‘It’s a nice look, I say keep it’.

Fans also praised Bautista’s ‘range’ as a performer, suggesting that his new look could be what sways them to head to the cinema next year.

Known as The Animal, Bautista has gone on to crack Hollywood in recent years, with his acting credits including Dune, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Blade Runner 2049.

And away from the cameras, he’s also been making some changes, having shed a significant amount of weight.

Speaking about maintaining his trimmer physique, the retired wrestler told Insight: ‘I’ll probably lose a few more pounds.

‘I’m basically killing myself to be this trim; I am training hard. Not only training hard, but my calories are pretty restricted.

He went on to reassure fans after sparking concern with his slender frame.

‘At this weight – it’s weird because people think, for me, people say “God, you’re skinny!” You saw it online, people are worried about my health,’ he said.

‘When I say it out loud to people, “I’m six [foot] four, 240lbs!” It sounds like when you say it loud, I’m a big person! But to me, because people have seen me so much bigger over the years, they think I’m anorexic!’

He added that his current weight is ‘the lightest’ he’s been since he was a teenager, as, during most of his wrestling career, he was about 290lbs (21st).

The bodybuilder originally decided to trim down to play other roles after piling on the pounds ‘really fast’ for the 2022 apocalyptic thriller Knock at the Cabin.

‘It took me forever to shed it off. And then I noticed, the more I trimmed down, the better I felt.’
