Netflix has announced the first big change for WWE Monday Night Raw with a new logo to kickstart a ‘new era’.
The professional wrestling giant is moving to the streaming platform from January 2025 as part of a massive $5billion deal, with Raw airing there all over the world from January 6.
With three weeks to go until the big show – which is being seen as a WrestleMania-esque event for the company – fans have been shown a glimpse of how the show will look.
‘New era. New logo,’ Netflix wrote on its official pages. ‘WWE RAW is coming to Netflix LIVE starting January 6!’
The new design – which features the Raw name in all capitals with a fresh font, with red slopes at the top and bottom – was also debuted by WWE boss Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque in a social media video.
He said in the clip: ”A logo is an identity, tells you everything you need to know without saying anything at all. It’s real, rebellious, raw. Welcome to Raw on Netflix.’
There’s a little while to go until fans see how the logo looks as part of the actual show, but people are already excited over the new design.
‘This is a huge improvement imo, not that the other one was bad,’ wrote @KCE1967, while @tgenualdo agreed: ‘Massive upgrade from the current logo imo.’
‘Ngl, new logo looks sick 🔥🔥,’ tweeted @Kryptonian_dude, as @narcolepsyboy94 added: ‘The way they hyping this show up potentially could be the greatest Raw ever #WWERaw’
