Coleen Rooney finally reunites with Wayne 8 days after I’m A Celebrity final-Sabrina Barr-Entertainment – Metro

Coleen Rooney has revealed her reunion with husband Wayne Rooney just over a week after she finished as the runner-up on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

On Sunday December 8, it was announced that McFly musician Danny Jones had been crowned the King of the Jungle following a triumphant run on the 2024 ITV series, which some fans hailed as the ‘best ever’.

Coleen finished in second place, while the lovable Reverend Richard Coles placed third, past other campmates including Maura Higgins, Oti Mabuse and GK Barry.

Following the end of the show, it’s been claimed that Coleen, 38, has plenty of exciting opportunities on the horizon, including possibly bringing her ITV series back after 16 years in a huge deal.

However, first thing’s first – it’s time for the fan-favourite to celebrate the festive period with her family.

In a post shared on her Instagram Story, Coleen revealed she’d reunited with Wayne, 39, following her return to the UK from Australia.

In the picture, she beamed from ear to ear as she cosied up to her former professional footballer husband while enjoying the fairy lights at a Christmas market in Manchester.

In another photo, Coleen hailed her friends, sharing a glamorous group photo which she captioned: ‘Back with my girls.’

On Friday night, the Coming Out show of I’m A Celebrity revealed what she got up to moments after the grand finale ended, and she was reunited with her children.

Coleen headed straight for a luxurious hotel room, popping some champagne which she planned on drinking out of a mug while having a hot bath.

She grinned from ear to ear as she closed the door, ready to finally wash off the dirt of the jungle, as fans congratulated her in the comments on how she’d done in the competition.

‘She’s so down to earth and has really shone through the last few weeks. She’s a Queen,’ an Instagram user called Lou commented, while JHepp wrote: ‘Coleen was just brilliant. Really wanted her to win but happy Danny won. We need to see more of Coleen though in the future.’

‘She was amazing throughout the whole show,’ Ali also added.

Before I’m A Celebrity began, Wayne shared a message of support for Coleen on Instagram, uploading a picture of them with their four sons and writing in his caption: ‘Good luck to our mum who’s in the jungle for @imacelebrity.

‘We’re missing you already but can’t wait to watch (you do some trials 😜) and for people to see what you’re all about. The best. We love you ❤️ @coleen_rooney.’

Later during the season, Wayne expressed how ‘proud’ he was of his wife of 16 years, adding that she was ‘doing great’.
