A major free agent appears set to make his first WWE appearance during the Raw debut on Netflix.

A cryptic vignette aired during Monday night’s episode teasing something mysterious for the upcoming event on January 6, which marks the launch of the iconic show on the streaming platform, and fans are convinced they’ve figured it out.

In the brief video, a ‘zero’ symbol appeared on screen and flashed three times, with fans thinking it’s pointing to Pentagon Jr, who was known as Penta El Zero Miedo during his time in AEW.

‘Wild guess but let me see. You have a 0 or an O with a slash going through it. And it’s kinda dark and spooky. Yeah I’m gonna guess Penta,’ wrote @JC_Lopez209.

‘That was for sure a Penta tease. #WWERaw,’ added @UKWrestlingTom, and @codywrestling50 said: ‘I’m really excited about penta. Hope wwe use him well.’

Other fans seem even more certain that the vignette is only pointing in one direction.

‘Call me crazy, but I haven’t been this hyped for a debut since CM Punk with both AEW & WWE. PENTA IS A DAWG!!!! 🔥🇲🇽 #WWERaw,’ wrote @RealRickyOrozco.

And @AJMMA_ said: ‘We live in a world where Pentagon F’n Jr is about three weeks away from being a WWF superstar. Wild. (sic)’

Penta recently left AEW after his contract expired, but his Lucha Bros tag partner Rey Fenix remains with the company after reports boss Tony Khan added a significant amount of injury time to his deal.

Jey Uso recently admitted he would love to reunite with his twin brother Jimmy so that The Usos could have dream matches with new SmackDown duo Motor City Machine Guns, and Lucha Bros.

‘I would like to do it with Jimmy because I feel like with Jimmy -Sami [Zayn] is easy too, but I feel like with Jimmy, man, we are the best tag team in the world,’ he exclusively told Metro.

‘We’ve done everything. But I feel like if we did have a comeback, man, I would like to run with those guys [Shelley and Sabin], a couple guys from NXT, maybe the Lucha Bros. But they gotta walk through this door.’

While fans may have to wait a while to see the team reunite in WWE, it appears the company could be moving ahead with plans for Penta as a solo star for the time being.

With his skeletal face paint and stunning masks, Penta has become a force around the world after building his reputation in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and Lucha Underground.

In the latter, he faced a number of then-future WWE stars like Santos Escobar and Ricochet, as well as masked legend Rey Mysterio, and after joining AEW in 2019, he went onto hold the tag and trios world titles alongside Rey and Pac.
