Molly-Mae Hague choked up as she reflected on her shocking break-up with Tommy Fury in the trailer for her new documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind It All.

The seemingly picture-perfect couple, both 25, met on Love Island in 2019 and went on to have a baby together, Bambi Fury, and get engaged. Then in August this year, they shocked the nation when they announced their sudden split.

In the months that followed boxer Tommy denied allegations of cheating after widespread speculation while influencer Molly-Mae focused her attention on her fashion brand, Maebe.

Although neither of them has explicitly shared the reason behind the break-up, that could be about to change in Molly-Mae’s emotional new Prime documentary which consists of six episodes.

The newly-released one-minute-and-a-half trailer opens up with various shots of Molly in the media spotlight, with the promise of going ‘behind the lens’ and ‘the heartbreak’.

‘We were utterly obsessed with one another,’ she says in a voiceover as videos and images of her and Tommy are shown.

‘All I ever wanted was to get married. Suddenly overnight, every part of my life changed,’ she said.

Adding: ‘The last couple months have been the worst couple months of my life.’

And in a scene from the show itself she admits she ‘is angry [with Tommy] and very hurt’.

The voiceover continues: ‘Sometimes it really hits you that I’m in this alone now,’ as we see her tear up in front of the camera.

‘Behind the woman’ is just a ‘normal girl’, the trailer declares which also offers an insight into Molly-Mae’s business world, exclusive interviews with her friends and family and what her future may hold.

As the synopsis reads: ‘[The show] will take you beyond the headlines of the UK’s #1 influencer to uncover the real Molly-Mae. Following her journey after her publicised break-up, we get to see Molly as we’ve never seen her before.’

It’s unclear exactly how much Molly-Mae will delve into the details behind the break-up.

In a recent interview with British Vogue, she admitted ‘no one will ever really know what went down apart from Tommy and I.’

The media personality continued: ‘That’s how we’d like to keep it, for Bambi’s sake.

‘I do think that [Tommy] will talk about things eventually. I do think that when he’s ready, like, maybe more will be said. But I think that’s for him to do on his terms.

‘It’s not like it’s gossip, it’s real life and it’s, you know, it’s a really deep situation. It’s really sad.’

Although Tommy has insisted that the matter will remain ‘private’ in various interviews, he did label the cheating rumours ‘completely false’ in a Mail Online interview ahead of the release of his memoir.

He continued: ‘The truth will come out in time and when it does I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words. The whole world will, I reckon.

‘What the public thinks is going on isn’t what is going on. It’s not something I envisaged happening, but it didn’t come out of nowhere.

‘It’s a thing that was there previously to all this happening, but the only people who know what is going on in our relationship is between me and Molly.’

The first three episodes of Molly-Mae: Behind It All arrives on Prime Video on January 17.
