I bought a cute dress from ASOS for Christmas but it’s a total fail – I look like an adult baby who needs a nappy change
A FASHION fan was left gutted after her Christmas outfit left her looking more like an adult baby.
Roisin Kelly, from Glasgow, had ordered an ASOS dress for a festive night out with friends but admitted it wasn’t giving the cute vibe she was after.

TV fans may recognise Roisin from the Gogglebox sofa after she joined the Channel 4 show with boyfriend Joe Kyle in 2022.
But away from the small screen, Roisin has racked up a loyal following of 60,000 TikTok followers with her fashion tips and outfit choices.
And the social media producer regularly shares her shopping hauls on the social media app.
In a recent video, Roisin tried on a new frock she picked up for Christmas drinks.
The £90 dusty blue Ghospell contrast bow jacquard mini dress is currently on sale for £66 on ASOS.
Trying it on, it was a fail from the start as Roisin said: “I can’t even do this one up. No, no, no.”
She added: “It’s a bit too close to adult baby. If I went to the toilet, you’d think I need my nappy changed. Not working.
“I actually think Ghospell dresses are quite cool. I like the silhouette of them. But I think this is just too big. It’s a size medium.
“So doing wonders for my confidence but not very much for my physical shape, I would say.”
And Roisin’s fellow fashion fans are also questioning the look, joking she looks like a hospital patient.
One said: “It is giving ‘just self discharged from the royal’.”
“I’m sorry the blue one looks like a hospital gown”, a second said.
A third joked: “Looks like you’re about to be taken down to day surgery.”
A fourth chimed in: “It’s giving psych ward, sorry.”
A fifth wrote: “It is giving ‘waiting on an X-ray’.”
Meanwhile, a sixth asked: “No Roisin, why does that look like a hospital gown?”
But it seems like Roisin was later coming around to the divisive dress as she later joked: “Guys the hospital gown is Mandela effect we all must look past this and see the vision.”
ASOS NAME SHOCK
ASOS launched in 2000 selling items and clothing which had been sported by celebrities.
But the online retailer quickly put its own stamp on fashion by launching its own brand which was sold alongside other labels on the website.
If you’ve only been aware of the company or shopping there since 2003, you will only know it by the snappy acronym ASOS.
It rebranded in the noughties to target twenty-something fashionistas.
But before then, the company name actually stood for “as seen on screen”.
And some loyal customers are not happy after realising they have had it wrong for years.
Fashion influencer Jilly Cross, from Glasgow, said: “I, for my whole entire adult life, thought that ASOS stood for ‘as seen on stars’.
“That really f***ed up my day because I hate being wrong.”
Someone else said: “It was definitely as seen on stars! They had all the celeb photos on each item.”
And another exclaimed: “Whaaaaaat? It is as seen on stars and I will die on this hill.”
Roisin Kelly and hilarious boyfriend Joe Kyle were the first Scottish armchair critics to appear on Gogglebox in six years when they made their 2022 debut.
Away from the show, Roisin has hosted a podcast titled Nags and Brags, which is making a comeback.
She’s also found social media fame by sharing outfits clips and items she’s selling on Vinted with her 60,000 followers.
And the social media producer regularly posts her work wardrobe picks.
In a recent video, Roisin admitted she had “good visions” for an office outfit.
She paired a baggy white top with a denim tie-front gilet, red striped beach trousers and red Adidas gazelles.
But she later joked she looked more like a pantomime baddie with her final look.
