Tom Holland reveals the one big perk of dating Zendaya in rare admission-Laura Harman-Entertainment – Metro

Tom Holland has spoken about his relationship with Zendaya and revealed the one great perk when it comes to dating his Spiderman co-star.

Tom, 28, and Zendaya, 28, first began dating after appearing as Peter Parker and MJ in the Marvel reboot of the Spiderman franchise.

The co-stars have kept their relationship under wraps for many years but in a recent interview, Tom spoke about his long-term girlfriend and admitted she’s the ‘best thing that’s ever happened to me.’

Nick Grimshaw told Tom that he heard that Zendaya enjoyed working with him as it meant they had the same schedule.

The actor added that there’s one great cost-effective perk when it comes to dating and working together.

‘Studios love it, one hotel room,’ Tom replied to peals of laughter from the crew at the Dish Podcast.

He then joked: Separate drivers. We’re not crazy now. Listen it’s work, alright?!’

On a serious note he then said: ‘Oh God, yeah. It’s a saving grace.’

He then elaborated: ‘But it’s just that perfect thing when you’re on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don’t agree with, or I know that she doesn’t particularly like, and it’s just that like familiar glance at each other of like, can’t wait to talk about that later.’ 

The actor also revealed that he and Zendaya will be spending the festive break together.

‘I am gonna be in America this year, I’ll be with my girlfriend’s family, which will be fun. Where we’ll be is a secret,’ he said.

He added that they both hope to merge their families during the holidays in the future. ‘I think what we’d like to start doing is rather than like, spending it with each family each year is to bring the families together.

‘That’s what I think we want to do next time. This time, because we’re both actors, we’re terrible at organising things. So it hasn’t happened yet. The thought’s there. The idea has been planted.’

The couple is set to reunite on screen again as they have both reportedly been cast in Christopher Nolan’s next movie, with Tom said to be playing the lead.

‘When the opportunity came in, it was the phone call of a lifetime, reminiscent of getting that call about Spider-Man 10 years ago. It was an amazing thing for me. I’m super proud and I’m really, really excited,’ he told Good Morning America in October.

‘All I can say is that I’m incredibly excited and obviously honored, but that’s all I can say because to be honest that’s all I really know.’

The plot details for the 2026 Universal Pictures film are still under wraps, with sources saying it’s ‘not the present day’.
