Married at First Sight UK star Lara Eyre has shared that she was recently rushed to the hospital amid a health crisis.

Eyre, 52, who appeared on the show in 2022, posted a candid reel on Instagram from a hospital bed, urging her followers to prepare for emergencies ahead of time.

She suggested packing a ‘go bag’ to be ready for anything, even a sudden trip to the emergency room.

‘Ending up in hospital is scary, stressful and strange but having some of your essentials and creature comforts can lessen the anxiety’ she wrote in the caption of the post.

She continued: ‘Pack a GO bag so you are ready just in case. A few things I wish I had clean knickers lol ,hair brush fuzzy socks, makeup wipes, baby wipes, toothbrush, book, charger, pjs, eye mask, ear plugs and the list goes on.

She went on to advise those who suffer from asthma to be particularly careful, writing: ‘Leave the bag where a friend can easily find it so you don’t have to stress explaining or asking them to pack for you when you’re not well so my little asthma sufferers be prepared and enjoy winter!!! #prepared #asthma #lessstress #hospital’

Though Lara didn’t say specifically what led to her hospital stay, it was implied that it has something to do with asthma.

In the video, Lara says: ‘I was only going for a prescription and I ended up in hospital.’

Fans showed their support in the comments, with user @lucindaslight writing: ‘Sending you love and healing gorgeous x’

A dancer by trade, Lara met her Richie Dews for the first time at the altar on the reality show.

They then went on their honeymoon and moved in together as the series unfolded.

But Richie’s lack of experience in relationships left her disappointed and the pair decided to split up during the second commitment ceremony.

Both Richie and Lara were teary as they shared how ‘gutted’ they were to be ending their journey.
