Noel Gallagher’s daughter found out about Oasis reuniting in the most awkward way-Lillie Rohan-Entertainment – Metro

Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher’s Oasis reunion was such a well-kept secret that even Noel’s daughter Anais Gallagher ‘didn’t have a clue’ about it.
The brothers announced in August that they are embarking on a 2025 reunion tour, and while you may assume their nearest and dearest knew all about it, it turns out one very special person didn’t.
A close friend of Anais, 24, who Noel, 57, shares with his ex-wife Meg Mathews, has revealed she only learnt of the reunion when everyone else did.
In a recent interview, Blossoms frontman, Tom Ogden, who is pals with the model and photographer, said she was staying with him and his wife when the news broke.
‘Do you know what? Noel’s daughter Anaïs was staying at mine and [his wife] Katie’s house when these new stories were breaking,’ he revealed during Radio X’s one-off show, The A to X of 2024 with Blossoms.
‘And she actually didn’t have a clue. She was texting around people she knew to find out if it was true. She got no word,’ he added.

Tom said it wasn’t until the next day, when Anais got her answer, as the Blossoms were told an ‘exciting’ promotional video would be playing after their concert at Wythenshawe Park during the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
‘When we were playing Wythenshawe the next day and Anaïs was coming to watch us, she still didn’t know. I got a phone call a couple of hours before we went on stage, from our management, saying: “We need to show a video clip after your gig. I can’t tell you what it is. But it’s very exciting”.’
‘We kind of put two and two together at that point. Obviously, the teaser went out and the rest is history. Oasis were back. Everywhere’s sold out. Ticket mayhem.’

Tickets for Oasis Live ’25 Tour can be purchased from official retailers such as See Tickets, Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster.ie and the Oasis website.
Most dates have sold out but second-hand tickets can be purchased from Twickets or resale platforms of other official sellers.

Despite not knowing about the reunion, Noel may be able to make it up to Anais, with Tom explaining that he’s hoping he will be able to get some tickets to one of their shows through her.
The infamously feuding Mancunian brothers had been publicly at odds since a dramatic split in 2009. However, 2024 proved to be the year they put all of that to rest as they announced their long-awaited reunion.
It sent fans wild, with most shows selling out in mere minutes, especially when it was announced the pair would be joined by Oasis founding member Paul Arthurs, aka Bonehead.

The band first shot to fame in 1994 with their debut album Definitely, Maybe, leading to many top charting hits, including Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova from their follow-up record.
Becoming a core part of the Britpop revolution, the group topped charts for a decade before calling it quits following a bitter row in the late 00s — during which Liam damaged Noel’s guitar.
While a reunion looked unlikely for many years, fans will finally get what they’ve been waiting years for next July, when they kick things off in Cardiff.
