Freedom Wars Remastered is as big as this week’s releases get (Bandai Namco)

The most up to date video game release schedule for 2025 continues this week, with Freedom Wars Remastered.

Last year wasn’t overburdened with big name releases but 2025 is clearly going to be very different, if only for the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 and the Nintendo Switch 2.

As ever, a lot of games are supposed to be scheduled for 2025 but don’t actually have a release date yet, including not just GTA 6 but multiformat games like Borderlands 4, Doom: The Dark Ages, and
Elden Ring Nightreign. There’s also big name first party titles to look forward to, including Fable, Ghost Of Yōtei, and Metroid Prime 4. And that’s not including whatever new games the Switch 2 will bring into the world.

We’ll update this article at least once a week, usually on a Thursday, so feel free to bookmark it and keep it for future reference, as new games and release dates are announced.
