The Traitors fans have declared their winner for the new season after a shocking turn of events at the round table.

Spoilers ahead for Friday, January 10 episode.

The stakes are higher than ever as The Traitors returned for this week’s final episode, as Faithfuls and Traitors turned on one another in a desperate bid to inch close to victory.

Tonight saw suspicions turn once again towards the Traitor Linda. As her fellow contestants started questioning her behaviour and motives at the daily round table, fans thought her days were surely numbered.

That is, until, fellow Traitor Minah swooped in to save the day and helped compound suspicion towards Dan, who was caught lying about who he dumped gunk over during today’s challenge.

An especially quick move since Dan has started vocalising his suspicions of Minah, which is the first time her fake position as a Faithful has been properly questioned.

Soon enough the tide started turning and, although it was a tense fight for survival between Linda and Dan, ultimately Linda escaped banishment by the skin of her teeth as Faithful Dan bowed out.

The masterful game-playing displayed by Minah to ensure her fellow Traitor would survive, without throwing her under the bus, has people praising her tactics and already engraving her name in the trophy.

‘Minah is playing a phenomenal game, I hope she wins this series. imagine successfully pulling Linda from the brink of banishment,’ @instonveevinder wrote on X.

‘Minah is an absolute puppet master. They walked in ready to bin Linda, she points the finger at Dan and they follow her like the Pied Piper,’ @thejakephillips shared.

‘Minah has this in the bag so long as the faithful turn on each other for bizarre reasons,’ @83VickiB added.

There was lots of heated discussion at the round table (Picture: BBC / Studio Lambert)

‘Okay if minah doesn’t win the money now what is the point,’ @seymourkrelbrrn said.

‘I have never seen anyone subtly have the whole game in the palm of their hands. Minah is a weapon. Might be the best player we’ve had in a long time,’ @_chrystalb declared.

‘Minah got out Dan and saved Linda. What a move. Nobody can do it like her. She is playing a fantastic game. Don’t mess with Minah! She’s coming for the win. We love to see it,’ @mariahscracker echoed.

‘Give Minah an BAFTA, an Oscar an Emmy all the awards tbh,’ @coco4m1lk posted.

The high stakes of the round table were clearly not lost on Minah either.

‘I didn’t wake up expecting to vote for Dan. There is an element of stress because Linda did have a bit of a battering around the table, I really need her to be on her A-game. I don’t want to be seen protecting somebody who is clearly a Traitor,’ she told the audience about her strategy.

Anna also revealed the truth about her failed seduction to become a Traitor, although so far no crazy consequences have come from the knowledge as some suspected it might.

After the twists and turns of the round table, the Traitors were given a stressful task. They had to scribble the names of four contestants who they wanted to put into a ‘deadly game’ onto a portrait in the bar with a feather quill.

They frantically wrote down Fozia, Anna, Alexander and Leon and the unlucky quartet were forced to play a card game of luck to decide which three would survive and which would be murdered.

The final showdown is between Fozia and Leon but who will rise victorious remains to be seen as we reach the halfway point of the season.

The Traitors returns next Wednesday on BBC One at 9pm.
