This Morning fans shocked at ‘miserable’ Dermot O’Leary during Dancing on Ice interview-Pierra Willix-Entertainment – Metro

This Morning viewers have been left shocked witnessing Dermot O’Leary’s behaviour in an interview with a Dancing on Ice star.

On a recent episode of the ITV morning programme, Dermot and his co-host Alison Hammond spoke to former The Only Way is Essex star Ferne McCann, who is currently competing on the ice-skating series.

During the chat Ferne, 34, revealed that while she could barely skate before signing up, the show had been a ‘magical’ experience so far.

‘I am honestly loving this whole experience and the whole production is so fantastic,’ she said.

She was then asked about appearing on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and how she ‘cried every day’ during that reality show.

However, viewers couldn’t help but notice Dermot not looking that interested throughout the interview.

At times he was seen yawning, stretching and scratching his leg.

Sharing a clip of the interview on TikTok, the poster captioned it: ‘Dermot is looking very bored. Is it home time yet?’

‘Soooooo funny, he looks sooooo bored, + sighing too !!!!!!’ one user commented.

‘Thought he looked very unimpressed with her yesterday,’ Sarah shared.

‘He actually sighed and stretched 😭😭😭😭😭 I’d be mortified,’ another added.

Meanwhile Mel posted: ‘I think it’s hilarious. He’s visibly not interested lol.’

Ferne is competing on the current season of Dancing on Ice alongside The Traitors star Mollie Pearce, Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave, Love Island’s Chris Taylor. Towie’s Charlie Brookes and former footballer and pundit Anton Ferdinand.

Also taking to the ice are Corrie’s Sam Aston, EastEnders’ Charlie Brooks, Waterloo and Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey, comedian Josh Jones and TV presenter Michaela Strachan.

On the premiere episode last week, Ferne and partner Brendyn Hatfield achieved a score of 26.5 with their first performance.

Fighting back tears afterwards, Ferne said: ‘I feel really emotional, I’ve got tiny tears. I’m just so happy, I really enjoyed it.’

Dancing on Ice continues Sunday at 6.30pm on ITV1. This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1.
