The Bafta 2025 award nominees have been announced and Robbie Williams’ biopic Better Man has been snubbed.

The Bafta nominations have been announced and some of the best films of the year are now officially contenders for the prestigious award show.

On a live stream on January 15, Mia McKenna-Bruce and Will Sharpe announced the nominees for 2025.

Wicked, Anora, The Brutalist, Conclave, Emilia Pérez, Better Man, and Kneecap were all strong contenders going into the announcement but unfortunately for Robbie, his film was completely snubbed.

Better Man didn’t receive any nominations across the major categories, despite being one of the most high-profile British films released in the year.

The film did however receive one nomination for special visual effects.

Zendaya’s film Challengers was also left out of the nominations completely.

In a surprising move, Hugh Grant was nominated for best actor for Heretic, and Gladiator II was nominated for outstanding British film.
