A US TV star has lashed out at Eamonn Holmes, branding her interview with him ‘the worst’ she’s ever had.
Whitney Thore is best known for appearing on the reality show My Big Fat Fabulous Life, which airs on TLC.
Now aged 40, she first appeared on the show in 2015. It began as a means of documenting her weight loss journey before Whitney embarked on a search for love.
Whitney, who has appeared on screens for 11 seasons, has now reflected on her career and named Eamonn as one of the broadcasters who rubbed her up the wrong way.
During an interview with the Daily Star ahead of her latest series, she was asked which UK shows she might take part in.
‘I haven’t done any UK TV shows in about 10 years, but I would gladly go on any and all of them again—except for [any with] Eamonn Holmes,’ she blasted.

‘He conducted the absolute worst interview of my entire career, but other than that, my experience in the UK has always been so extremely lovely, and I love my time here so much,’ she added.
Thankfully, Eamonn’s alleged unfavourable interviewing skills haven’t deterred Whitney from popping across the pond every once in a while.
Revealing that not all UK celebs have left a sour impression, she added: ‘Just the other night I got the nicest message from an insanely famous UK singer—I won’t disclose who just for privacy reasons, but it absolutely made my day.’
She then joked that she has ‘of course’ had some ‘crazy’ showbiz encounters.
‘But I don’t like to gossip,’ Whitney teased.

The next instalment of Whitney’s TV series will show her friends getting married and having babies while she fears being left behind, all while navigating her relationship with her body and the stereotypes people have of her.
The star, who first went viral in 2015 with a dancing video, returns to screens on January 17 on TLC and Discovery+.
As for Eamonn, 65, who has worked with many famous faces throughout his career, this is far from the first time he’s become embroiled in a high-profile feud.
Most famously, he has vocalised his negative feelings about ex-This Morning colleague Phillip Schofield, who left the daytime show in 2023 after admitting to lying about an ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair with a much younger male colleague.
Since, Eamonn, who previously hosted the show with now ex-wife Ruth Langsford, has branded the disgraced broadcaster a ‘narcissist.’

He’s also claimed he feels ‘used’ after supporting Schofe when he came out as gay.
Since leaving This Morning, the Northern Irish presenter has featured on GB News, beginning his role in January 2022 with a breakfast show alongside Isabel Webster.
Following the announcement that Isabel would be leaving the divisive channel, and amid a shakeup of hosts, it was confirmed that Eamonn would be fronting a new show with Paul Coyte.
Reps for Eamonn Holmes have been contacted for comment.
