Son of pop culture icons shows off sharp jawline in stunning catwalk debut-Rishma Dosani-Entertainment – Metro

Henry Samuel followed in his famous parents’ footsteps as he made his catwalk debut this week, stealing the show at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.

The 19-year-old, son of supermodel Heidi Klum and singer Seal, had all eyes on him as he hit the runway at the Lena Erziak Haute Couture show on Tuesday, at Hotel le Marois.

He had clearly got some tips from his mom as he modeled the clothes with ease, opting for a black blazer and matching trousers for his look, paired with shiny shoes.

The teenager added an oversized cape to the dramatic look, embellished with jewel-encrusted gold broaches.

After a quick outfit change, Henry swapped the suit for another blazer and loose trousers, complete with a tied belt wrapped around his waist.

In an interview with Vogue Germany, via Daily Mail, the fashion superstar revealed that he hadn’t considered following mom Heidi’s lead before getting the opportunity.

‘I want to use the different creative experiences that are available to me to find the right path for my future,’ he told the outlet.

When asked whether the America’s Got Talent judge – or his sister, budding model Leni – had given him any words of advice, he added:  ‘Yes! Leni told me to look straight ahead and walk as if I was balancing a book on my head.

‘My mother told me to do my best and not forget to have fun.’

Heidi was clearly thrilled by Henry’s efforts, and shared a glimpse of his catwalk strut on her Instagram page.

Alongside the video, she cheered: ‘So proud of you Henry – Opening the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Show in Paris @henrysamle @lena_erziak.’

The Germany’s Next Top Model host shares Henry, Johan and Lou with ex-husband Seal – the couple were romantically linked in 2004, and got engaged at the end of the year after a whirlwind romance.

They tied the knot in 2005 and gave birth to their first child together, Henry, that same year, before adding to their brood with Johan in 2006, and Lou in 2009.

Heidi welcomed Leni in a previous relationship with Flavio Briatore, with the Kiss from a Rose musician formally adopting the 20-year-old at the age of five.

After almost seven years of marriage, the former couple announced their separation in January, 2012 – their split was finalized in 2014.

The Project Runway legend later walked down the aisle with Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, and revealed that her children actually helped the musician with his proposal.

Opening up about motherhood, she shared her pride that her eldest child was carving out a fashion career of her own.

‘I’m so proud of you. And it’s not because you’ve chosen your own path. I know, that no matter which path you were to go down, you would be your own woman,’ she previously said in a heartfelt message on Instagram.

‘You always know exactly what you want and what you don’t want. You are my little mini me. And I’m so happy for you, that you now know who YOU are.

‘Even when it’s a little hard for me to let you go off into the world, I will always do everything for you to be happy and fulfill your dreams. I am so proud to be your mama.’
