Liam Gallagher teases shockingly short set length for Oasis reunion tour-Emily Bashforth-Entertainment – Metro

We’re just months away from a united Oasis taking to the stage for their hotly anticipated reunion tour.

However, as revealed by one member, fans might not be getting the extended show they’re hoping for.

Instead, Liam Gallagher has outraged his following by seemingly confessing the exact set length of their gigs, forcing many to question whether the price of tickets will be worth it.

…but surely he’s not being serious, right?

Liam, 52, and his brother Noel Gallagher, 57, will perform 41 shows, starting this summer and finishing in November after millions crashed Ticketmaster last year and forked out hundreds of pounds to be part of the historic comeback.

It’s safe to say the ticket-buying process was marred by controversy; however, as Ticketmaster is currently under investigation for using ‘dynamic pricing’ and increasing fees due to the high demand.

Taking to X recently, Liam addressed fans’ questions about what they can expect at the concerts… but it’s not looking good.

‘Liam some people believe Oasis gigs will last only one hour, tell em you were joking’, wrote adele_liam.

The star wrote back: ‘Just under 59 mins 59 secs’.

Now, it’s not clear if the Wonderwall hitmaker was fooling around or whether details of the shows have even been finalised yet, but fans are praying the brothers will, at the very least, exceed the 60-minute mark.

‘one second encore come on’, joked manraylovesme.

‘you’re so funny, you should be a comedian’, added buckysvader.

User JoeyKershawReal is counting on more, though, writing: ‘Hardly i spent over 1k’.

Let’s stay optimistic, shall we?

It’s thought that Liam and Noel, who haven’t performed together for 15 years, will rake in a whopping £3,000,000 per show, meaning their take-home pay at the end of the world tour will be £100 million—not bad!

The tour will see the Gallaghers perform in venues across the UK and Ireland, as well as the US, Canada, Mexico, South America, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.

As they announced their return to the music scene as a united sibling duo, the pair stunned everyone by confirming their long-running feud had ended.

Oasis said in a statement at the time: ‘The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.’

The group formed in 1991 and quickly became one of the most popular bands in the country.

They achieved four chart-topping singles and three number one albums in the 1990s, solidifying themselves as true British music icons.

Fast forward to the 2000s, and they scored another four number one hits and four more number one album, meaning every one of their records earned top-of-chart status while they were together.

Fans are now predicting how their long-awaited reunion will play out, throwing out predictions for their tour setlist and whether any new tunes will make the cut.

It’s been widely reported that Liam and Noel have been new music, which could make up their first album since 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul, recorded at the iconic Abbey Road.

The brothers are remaining tight-lipped on whether the likes of Stand By Me and Supersonic will feature in their live shows—well, excluding Liam’s jovial tweets—but have teased that a previously leaked setlist was ‘not far off’.
