The Isle of Wight Festival has just announced the addition of Razorlight to their now-stacked 2025 lineup.

Set on the English island, the festival – taking place from June 19 to 22 – comes a week before Glastonbury, and can sometimes get lost in the UK festival noise.

However this year it’s got one of the most nostalgic and fun lineups of any UK festival, with a nice injection of new talent to keep things exciting.

It’s got so many icons on the bill one artist has even complained about their name being too small on the poster.

The Golden Touch and America hitmakers were announced today in addition to previously confirmed headliners Sting, Justin Timberlake and the Stereophonics.

Razorlight’s iconic indie tunes – also including Before I Fall To Pieces and In The Morning – pretty much soundtracked the 00s, so they will be sure to draw a mighty crowd.

Also announced yesterday are rising stars English Teacher – who are also set to perform at Glastonbury the following week – and Glasgow rockers Twin Atlantic, as well as Busted, who are just casually mentioned on a third line. No biggy.

Elsewhere packed like sardines of fun in the lineup are The Script, This is the Life hitmaker Amy Macdonald, Jess Glynne, Paul Heaton, Example, The Pigeon Detectives, Olly Murs, Teddy Swims, Texas, and Clean Bandit.

For those looking for the ultimate throwback, Supergrass will be heading up the alternative big top stage on the Saturday, performing their 90s hits including the free-spirited Alright and jubilant Going Out.

Adding to the excitement are Sit Down hitmakers and 80s icons James, who will be lighting up the event after they opened Glastonbury last year on the Pyramid Stage.

Stereophonics are returning to the festival for the first time in three years, while Sexy Back hitmaker Justin will close the festival on the Sunday night.

While reaction to the initial line up was mixed, with some hailing it ‘belting’ and a ‘brilliant mix of old and new’, others declared the lineup ‘awful’ save Dakota rockers Stereophonics.

However, the addition of Razorlight alongside Yard Act, Alessi Rose, English Teacher, Midge Ure, Pale Waves, Twin Atlantic and Amble seems to have quelled haters.

What is the full Isle of Wight Festival 2025 lineup from A-Z?

‘Okay what’s the plan to get me to Isle of Wight Festival how does one get to Isle of Wight,’ asked @rrosembb.

Meanwhile, legendary producer, writer and rocker Midge Ure – who enjoyed huge success in the 70s and 80s in bands including Thin Lizzie – seemed miffed his name got somewhat lost in the jam-packed lineup.

‘Try to not strain your eyes too much trying to find me. Looking forward to it though!’ 71-year-old Midge commented on the poster..

Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival are still available via Ticketmaster.
