Chesney Hawkes shocks by stripping completely naked moments into Celebrity Big Brother-Emily Bashforth-Entertainment – Metro

Celebrity Big Brother is known to be one of the most exposing shows on TV for the rich and famous, but for Chesney Hawkes, it’s already been exposing in a very different way.

The pop star, who shot to fame with his tune The One and Only in 1991, enters the CBB house this year as part of a very exciting lineup indeed.

Chesney, 53, joins the likes of JoJo Siwa, Mickey Rourke, and Trisha Goddard entering the ITV abode—but not before flashing some flesh… literally.

In his VT on launch night, viewers at home had to do a double-take to check they weren’t dreaming as the musician appeared on their screens stark naked.

Introducing himself and the type of housemate he will be, Chesney revealed one of his not-so-well-known personality traits.

‘One thing that people don’t know about me… I am a bit of a nudist,’ he confessed.

‘I do like to get naked. Just saying.’

Chesney was then seen playing guitar, with the string instrument placed strategically to cover his modesty.

As the VT ended, however, he lifted the guitar in the air, completely exposing himself—thankfully, the CBB eye was on hand to shield his manhood.

The BB house has certainly been no stranger to nudity over the years, so it looks like Chesney might be joining the streaker’s hall of fame in the coming weeks.

Reacting to the shocking scenes on Monday night, viewers took to X after seeing a lot more of Chesney than they bargained for.

‘I really was not expecting a naked Chesney Hawkes four minutes into this launch’, wrote @betbinch.

‘Chesney Hawkes naked 5 minutes into the show….reality tv is back!!’, declared @caljj00.

‘What a series this is going to be’, predicted @DangerouslyMJJ, while @adamsmith_1987 wrote: ‘God I LOVE this show’.

This actually isn’t the first time Chesney has bared all on screen.

As he staged his musical comeback recently, he relished the opportunity to strip off, appearing naked in the music video for Get A Hold Of Yourself.

The tune marks his first single in 12 years, for which the video was filmed at Thomas Shelby’s Peaky Blinders mansion and saw Chesney recreate a Saltburn-esque moment.

Reenacting the infamous dance scene starring Barry Keoghan, the singer unleashed all his inhibitions, with scenes showing him in the nude, soaking in a lavish bathtub, and lounging on a chair.

It remains to be seen what kind of CBB housemate he’ll be, but viewers are already obsessed with his casting and predicting him to reach the end.

‘Kudos to Chesney Hawkes for keeping a career going for 34 years with one hit. He seems a decent bloke, he could win’, wrote X user @rozlaws.

‘Chesney Hawkes to win Celebrity Big Brother, best song of all time! There, that’s the tweet!’, penned @krobbo81.

Speaking ahead of the series launch, Chesney, who spent five weeks at number one with his hit, didn’t predict being any trouble to his fellow housemates.

‘I think so,’ he replied when asked whether he’ll be easy to live with. ‘Unless I discover I’m an absolute nightmare. Who knows?!

‘I guess I’m looking forward to seeing if I last more than 20 minutes— hopefully I do.’

Tonight, Chesney was the first housemate inside the house and was given a secret mission by Big Brother.

As part of a game show-style task, the 90s icon had to introduce himself as ‘the one and only Chesney Hawkes’ to the next celebs through the doors, a mission that made him feel incredibly awkward.
