Drake just got ghosted on social media by Justin Bieber.
The Baby hitmaker, 31, put out a social media call for music collaborators this week.
It looked as though he was inundated with messages from industry favourites, all keen to make music with the Canadian pop icon.
One of those wannabe collaborators was God’s Plan hitmaker Drake, 38, who has revealed Justin didn’t respond to his direct message.
The rapper – whose Instagram handle is champagnepapi – commented on the post, ‘I DM’d but no reply,’ in a comment that’s been liked over 50,000 times.
Others who threw their hat in the ring include Brazilian singer Veigh, Blessings rapper Big Sean, and Will Smith’s 26-year-old son Jaden Smith.

Are Drake and Justin Bieber close?
Drake and Justin Bieber have been friends for over a decade.
Scooter Braun, Bieber’s longtime manager, said in 2013: ‘Drake is like a big brother to Justin. And Justin really looks up to Drake. They have an extremely special relationship.’
In 2010 Drake appeared in Justin’s Baby music video and they also performed together at Indianapolis State Fair.
They collaborated on Justin’s Right Here in 2012.
Drake also reportedly worked behind the scenes with Justin on his Journals project in 2013.
Justin appeared in DJ Khaled and Drake’s 2020 track Popstar, portraying Drake himself.
This sent fans into orbit, with kennzaah writing: ‘We better see a collab soon.’
v_god added: ‘The duo we all need!!! Let’s make this happen asap!’
The pair – who both hail from Canada – last collaborated in 2012 on Right Here, the third song on Justin’s third studio album, Believe.

Earlier this year, Drake released a collaborative album with Canadian singer Jahron Brathwaite called Some Sexy Songs 4 U, which fans thought might include an appearance from Justin.
While fans were left disappointed, Justin’s recent social media activity has given fresh hope for new music four years after his last album, Justice.
Justin Bieber’s unusual social media activity explained
Justin’s social media posts have also sparked concern among fans in recent months.
Justin, who welcomed baby boy Jack with wife Hailey Bieber last August, called the speculation about his well-being ‘exhausting’.
Shortly after one upload – in which Justin talked about ‘changing’ – it was alleged that Hailey was ‘deeply concerned’ for him, and was unsure of ‘where to turn’ for ‘help’.
‘It’s like he doesn’t care about his well-being anymore,’ an insider told the Daily Mail. ‘He’s moodier too. People are worried that he’s lost any motivation, even for his music.’

‘He won’t listen to her when she tries to help,’ they claimed. ‘Hailey struggles with where to turn.
‘It’s not as if she can ask his family for help – or hers for that matter. They’ve both experienced estrangement from them.’
However, a contradictory source told Us Weekly that Justin is ‘happier than he’s been in a long time’.
‘There’s no breakdown, and he just really doesn’t care what people think. He knows he looks strange leaving spas shirtless, but it’s just him,’ they vowed.
‘And after the rumours, he’s doing it out of spite now, he’s just being himself and won’t create a squeaky-clean image just because the public wants him to.’
This comes as Drake announced he would be performing at London’s Wireless Festival in July this year.
In February Kendrick Lamar performed his diss track Not Like Us against Drake at the Super Bowl halftime show.
The Grammy-winning song is now the subject of a potential libel case brought by Drake against Universal Music Group (UMG) for defamation and harassment.

Drake is accusing the company of defamation by allowing Lamar’s song to be published and promoted, claiming it spread a ‘false and malicious narrative’ that he is a paedophile.
In response UMG filed to dismiss the case, calling it an ‘illogical’ attempt to ‘silence’ Lamar’s creative expression.
The lyrics go: ‘Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young / You better not ever go to cell block one / To any b***h that talk to him and they in love / Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him.’
It goes on to say: ‘Certified Lover Boy? Certified paedophiles.’
