Brian Harvey live-streamed the moment he was arrested at his London home.

The East 17 star shared a recording on YouTube earlier today, showing six police officers knocking on his door.

In the footage, which ran for more than two hours, the 46-year-old filmed the officers as they discussed allegations made against him.

‘They’re here again everyone, they’re here again,’ he repeated as he started recording.

Refusing to let them enter his property, the Stay Another Day singer addressed viewers, stating: ‘Are you seeing this, people? I need your protection, people.

‘Look what’s happening to me. Look how many people are here.’

‘There has been an allegation made against you of malicious comms,’ one member of the team replied as Brian told them to stay away from his gate.

He questioned: ’I’ll be arrested but why have you got to come in my house?’

‘Get away. I will come with you, you have my word, but please move back from my house.’

At one point, an officer said they were concerned for his safety over his behaviour, to which he replied that he would go with them peacefully.

‘We’re going to take you to the police station. We’re going to Leyton police station,’ the officer continued. ‘We need to talk to you about this allegation. This will be explained to you.’

It was at this point that Brian put his phone through the letterbox and it landed on the other side of his front door, still recording on the live-stream.

An officer could be heard reading the star his rights – with the footage continuing for nearly two hours before he returned.

A police spokesperson told Metro.co.uk in a statement: ‘Police arrested a man aged in his 40s on suspicion of malicious communications. He was taken into custody.’

Malicious communications is classed as the act of sending a message that is ‘indecent or grossly offensive, threatening or false’.

The purpose of this is to ‘cause distress or anxiety’ to the person receiving it.

It has not been made clear what the allegations are about.
