The world of Combat Sports is very interesting. It is common to see fighters engaging in disagreements and social media wars to build hype. Apart from the fighters, analysts and commentators often engage in social media banters, too. Recently, a famous boxing analyst had some interesting things to say against UFC color commentator Stephen A. Smith.

Stephen A. Smith recently said, “Let me be clear. If my right hand connects with the legend Joe Rogan, all due respect, he is getting knocked out cold.”

A fan expressed his opinion saying, “Joe Rogan would knock him out and than (then) wake him up to do the interview”

One fan expressed his views on the post by saying, “Notice the comment “IF” his right hand connected… Well sure, he could knock joe out he got a free punch. However, in a real fight, Joe would hurt Stephen very badly.”

This statement by Stephen A. Smith has drawn a lot of reactions from the combat sports community. However, this is not the first time where there has been a conflict between Joe Rogan and Stephen A. Smith.

After the fight, Smith said that he felt disgusted and thought Cerrone did not show up.

UFC color commentator Joe Rogan did not meet well these comments by Smith. Rogan, in response to Smith, said that his comments came from a very little understanding of the sport. Joe Rogan also felt that these comments towards Cerrone were disrespectful. Rogan was of the opinion that it was not due to fear but Cerrone could not simply withstand the pressure of Conor McGregor.

This beef between Smith and Rogan drew a lot of reactions from the MMA community. With what seemed settled, the recent statements by Stephen A. Smith may rebuke the old rivalry between him and Joe Rogan.
