One of the big what-ifs in basketball is Derrick Rose. The former MVP had a promising start to his career before injuries ruined everything. However, he still remains a fan favorite. Interestingly enough, a photo of him and Kobe Bryant is doing the rounds of the internet.

The photo involves Rose and Kobe Bryant enjoying a video game session together for a promotional advertisement. Moreover, this has sent nostalgic NBA fans into a frenzy.

There is no denying Derrick Rose is one of the biggest cult heroes in the NBA. His time with the Chicago Bulls sent the league into a frenzy and earned him the MVP award.

However, not everything went well in his career. Despite showing signs of becoming one of the best players, injuries ruined his career.

In spite of all this, he still remains one of the darlings of the Bulls fanbase. Interestingly enough, he starred in a commercial with Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant that has sent the NBA Twitter buzzing.

What happened with Rose is tragic indeed. He was everything a fan loved, entertaining, exciting, and clinical. However, during the first round of playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers, Rose went down in pain.

Everything went downhill after that. He missed the entire 2012-13 season campaign and he injured himself again during the 2013-14 season.

Interestingly enough, Kobe Bryant has faced Rose 9 times in his career. Bryant holds the upper hand with 5 wins over him.
