Beyonce’s storage units ‘raided for $1million worth of designer goods’
Beyonce has called in the police after her storage lockers were ransacked by burglars who made off with more than $1million (£725,000) of possessions, it has been claimed.
According to reports, the singer, 39, had some of her valuables kept safe in units in Los Angeles but thieves allegedly struck twice, making off with expensive designer handbags and dresses.
The storerooms were being rented by her production company, but the missing items from the first incident belonged to the star.
TMZ states burglars came back the same week and entered three units on the same premises.
They made off with bags, toys and photographs belonging to the former Destiny Child star’s stylists.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating Bey’s situation but no arrests had been made at the time of writing.
Beyonce is not the first star to have fallen prey to storage space burglars with Miley Cyrus also having clothes, family photos and other possessions removed against her will.
It is thought the thieves were not specifically seeking out Miley’s belongings as the entered a number of different units at the Californian facility.
The former Hannah Montana star is no stranger to storage unit break-ins as she previously experienced this in 2018 when a number of expensive guitars were stolen from a San Fernando Valley property.
The performer lost $10,000 (£7,300) of items and the shocking news came soon after her and then-fiancé Liam Hemsworth’s Malibu home burned down in a wildfire.
