I tried on trousers from a size 14 to a 20 and they ALL fit perfectly – ignore the labels, they don’t mean s**t
A WOMAN has demonstrated the “irrelevance” of clothing sizes by trying on trousers from a size 14 to a size 20 – all of which fit perfectly.
Make-up artist Shanice took to TikTok as she explained to viewers: “I am about to show you exactly why the number on the back of your clothes does not mean s**t.”

She proved these jeans were a size 20 by showing the tag that was still attached to the denimsTikTok/@shanicemua_
She then showed herself wearing a pair of patterned purple and black trousers with a tie-up purple cardigan, as she explained: “Ignore the outfit – these trousers are a size 14, right, wait.”
Shanice then changed into a pair of size 16 black trousers, before changing again into some lime green size 14 pants.
Then she swapped her ensemble as she put on a pair of size 20 jeans.
“These jeans are a size 20,” she said, before showing the tag still attached to the denims.

Concluding her trying on haul, Shanice popped on a pair of old Pretty Little Thing jeans in a size 14.
“The next time you go to stress about the number on the back of your clothes I beg you watch this video,” she said.
“Because as you have just seen, they mean f**k all.

“The number on the back of your clothes is irrelevant to how much of a bad b**ch you are.
“So we are wearing whatever we want and whatever is comfy.”
Shanice was quickly praised for sharing her honest video about clothing sizes, with one person commenting: “Yes!!!
“Clothes are made to fit you – not the other way around.”
“I needed to see this!!! Thank you so much beautiful,” someone else added.
“That’s the one thing that drives me nuts,” another comment read.
“I’m a size 16 and when i go to buy other size 16s they don’t fit sometimes especially H&M I go up to 20.”

“I don’t think the brands have a clue what they’re doing,” Shanice replied.
“‘Sizes’ are merely categories they put the clothes in so they’re organised in the shops.”
