During an interview with Yahoo Sports, ‘The Highlight’ said, “The crazy thing is there are so many factors from that experience that are not here. I mean if you are a creature of habit, you are so f***** going to Abu Dhabi. The water wasn’t the same, the food wasn’t the same, the time wasn’t the same…Also you know your why is everything and Khabib’s why that night with the passing of his father, with him having the knowledge that it was going to be his last fight, you know, larger than life was his why.”

Justin Gaethje bounced back from his loss against Khabib Nurmagomedov by fighting and winning against Michael Chandler at UFC 268  in a massively enjoyed fight by the fans. Since then, MMA fans are eager for the return of ‘The Highlight’ and at UFC 274, they will get to see him back in action.

Justin Gaethje is coming into this fight with four wins from his last five fights. In his last five fights, Gaethje has notable wins over the likes of Edson Barboza, Donald Cerrone, Tony Ferguson, and Michael Chandler. His only loss comes from his fight against the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Charles Oliveira, on the other hand, is on a 10-fight winning streak since his loss to Paul Felder. ‘Do Bronx’ has had some notable wins over the likes of Kevin Lee, Tony Ferguson, and Michael Chandler, whom he beat to win the UFC Lightweight Championship. Having defended his title against Dustin Poirier once, Oliveira will look to make it two straight title defenses when he faces Justin Gaethje at UFC 274.
