I ordered £254 cut-out dress online, what I received was totally different and there was NO WAY it’d get it over my body

ORDERING clothes online is always a bit of a gamble.

But when you’re splashing out some serious cash for a dress, you’d expect it to be somewhat similar to the pictures online.

This fashion lover got more than they bargained for when they ordered a black cut-out style dress from Rui for £254.

What they received looked pretty similar to the online pictures… just a lot smaller.

They shared the fail on twitter: “So I thought I was ordering a dress… Turns out I spent $300 on a sleeve. Wtf.”

The knitted dress was described as having ‘cut-out detailing’, ‘bead embellishment’ and an ‘asymmetric neckline’.

BITING BACK

She added: “The price was too good to be true.

“But am I hallucinating at the word DRESS in the title?”

The brand does also sell similar looking knitted sleeves, for the cheaper price of £156.

The pictures of the dress and sleeves look incredibly similar, so it’s no surprise that there was a mix-up.

Nonetheless, the fashion lover was left disappointed, since they were expecting a full outfit and were left with a fraction of that, literally.

The tweet racked up a lot of attention, securing 156k likes and countless rewteets.

People couldn’t believe she’d ended up with just sleeves for what she paid.

One joked that she “ordered a sleeveless dress and they sent a dressless sleeve.”

Another wrote: “You better squeeze yourself into that dress sleeve… $300?!”
