$300 Price Tag Doesn’t Deter Gotham Knights Fans As Latest Reveal Sparks Immense Joy

The immortal Arkham series featuring one of the most popular DC superheroes, Batman, is regarded as one of the best superhero gaming franchises to date. However, 2015’s Arkham Knight did leave the fans disappointed due to the fact that it was the end of a great trilogy. But now, it’s set to make a return, in a way, with the upcoming Gotham Knights.

Gotham Knights is a co-op game that is set in the same timeline as that of the Batman Arkham franchise. Its story will continue after the events of the last title in the series.

New Gotham Knights gameplay demo footage escalates the hype among the fans!

Developed by WB Games Montréal, the yet-to-release title will revolve around the four main characters. Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood will be the playable options that users can choose in order to eradicate crime from Gotham city.

They don’t always see eye to eye, but Nightwing and Red Hood can agree on one thing — protect Gotham at all costs. #GothamKnights

These four heroes are tasked to bring justice to the city after the tragic death of Batman in Arkham Knight. While investigating the Dark Knight’s inexplicable disappearance, the characters come across the Court of Owls. It’s a secret society that is nearly as old as the city of Gotham.

Speaking of the playable characters, then they all will have their own skills and fighting styles. Moreover, players will have the option to either go solo, in Gotham Knights with its single-player campaign or fight alongside a friend in co-op mode.

While there was no buzz for this new DC superhero title for a long time, now it seems like it will be one of the most awaited games of 2022 for sure. The reason is that the developing team just dropped an extended gameplay demo footage from Gotham Knights. It features Red Hood and Nightwing taking on the bad guys in the co-op mode. The clip runs for a duration of over 13 minutes.
