A point for the Hammers means they’re guaranteed at least Europa Conference League football next term.
But David Moyes‘ side could snatch sixth and Europa League football from Manchester United on the final day.
Rice‘s nephews, who are present at most of the midfielders’ games including the Euro 2020 final against Italy, joined him on the pitch as Mark Noble and the players bid farewell to the home crowd for this season.
As his nephew sprinted towards the Bobby Moore stand with the ball at his feet, 23-year-old Rice timed his tackle to perfection.

Determined to win the ball back, Rice’s nephew quickly got back to his feet and chased the Hammers No41 down.
But Rice saw him coming and flicked the ball back over his head.
A cheeky sense of humour and character clearly runs in the Rice as one of his nephews appeared to jokingly give departing captain Noble the middle finger.
Rice is expected to take up the captaincy once Noble hangs up the boots at the end of the season, despite the transfer speculation.

The academy graduate is attracting interest from a host of top clubs, but West Ham are determined to keep Rice for at least another year.
Moyes has set the price for Rice at £150million if West Ham are to even consider selling him.
Rice has two years to run on his deal at the London Stadium but the Hammers have an option to extend by a further year.
He won’t sign to new terms, despite being offered £200,000-a-week, proving he’s in football to win things and not for the money.
