ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC accidentally SMASHED a window on AC Milan’s team coach as he cheered supporters outside the San Siro.

But Ibra’s pumped-up antics appeared to work as the Rossoneri beat Atalanta 2-0, putting them on the verge of a first league title in ELEVEN years.

Milan News claims Ibrahimovic and his teammates were greeted by a raucous crowd as they arrived at the San Siro on Sunday.

A win against Atalanta would keep Milan top of Serie A going into next weekend’s final clash against Sassuolo.

And Ibra, 40, appeared to get a bit carried away as fans and players revved each other up.

It’s claimed Ibrahimovic was banging on a window of Milan’s bus as he soaked up the atmosphere.

However, the Swede forgot his own strength and ended up smashing the glass instead.

No injuries were reported to have occurred.

But the display of passion from Ibrahimovic inspired fans to turn the San Siro into a steaming cauldron for Atalanta’s visit.

And it paid off as goals from Rafa Leao and Theo Hernandez secured a crucial victory to keep Milan two points clear of rivals and defending champions Inter.

Stefano Pioli’s team looked nervy and devoid of ideas in the first half, failing to create a clear-cut chance in the entire opening 45 minutes.

But their quality shone through in the second half as a fine finish from Leao and a superb solo effort from Hernandez saw Milan home.

It was their fifth league success in a row and also stretched Milan’s unbeaten Serie A run to 15 matches.

Boss Pioli said: “I had to say goodbye to the fans, it’s a year that excites me. It’s not over yet, we must be determined and calm.

“I am very satisfied, because we played against a strong team that created difficulties for us. We did well in the attacking phase and we found solutions. 

“We never lost our clarity and we always believed in it, so the victory is a well-deserved reward.

“I’m living very normal weeks, because I see the positive attitude of my players. We have an important background, derived from two years together. The boys make me proud.”

Elsewhere in Serie A on Sunday, Inter stayed in the hunt for a second consecutive title with a 2-1 with Cagliari.

Simone Inzaghi’s side face Sampdoria on the final day.

Elsewhere, Napoli made sure they will finish third ahead of Juventus after a 3-0 win over Genoa.

Juve take on Lazio and former boss Maurizio Sarri – who led them to their last title – tomorrow.
