On Sunday night, British and international talent were lined up for the extravaganza to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Hollywood legend Tom Cruise, Dame Helen Mirren, Katherine Jenkins and The Queen herself all appeared on the ITV programme.
Phillip Schofield and Julie Etchingham hosted the live event, which saw hundreds more performers come together to celebrate.
However, as fans tried their best to enjoy the acts – and the story of the Queen’s life – they were left distracted from the festivities.

Many took to Twitter to complain that there were “too many ad breaks” in the coverage, suggesting it was an insult to the Royal.
“It’s a live show with her majesty the Queen in attendance and you’re having ad breaks?” one confused fan asked ITV.
Another chimed in: “You don’t have an ad break in the middle of a football match so why in the middle of a show? It’s difficult to watch.”
“Hold up, a f***ing ad break? Is the Queen watching it as well? Get back to the show,” a third added.

While a fourth fumed: “You can show sport uninterrupted by ad breaks but historical Royal celebrations don’t get that privilege?”
Others were just confused on ” what the show was meant to be” as they slammed it as “boring”.
“I don’t know whether it is live or not,” one wrote, as a second agreed: “This ITV programmed doesn’t know what it wants to be.”
“I’m going to watch it on catchup so I can forward all the boring s*** and get to the horses and the Queen’s smiling face,” a second fumed.
“Can we just get on with the show? This is boring,” a fourth added.
It comes after Tom Cruise was slammed by ITV viewers for “plugging” his new film on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration.

Presenters Phillip and Julie chatted to the Top Gun 2 star while hosting the live televised event on ITV.
Tom, whose long-awaited film Top Gun: Maverick is hitting cinemas at the end of this month, was slammed by viewers for ‘plugging’ his forthcoming feature during his interview.
“Every film I make is important, but this one, people have been asking for decades,” the Hollywood star explained.
However, viewers were not impressed that Tom was using the moment to promote the sequel to the 1986 original.
One wrote: “So you think if Tom Cruise didn’t have a big film release, would he have appeared here for Platinum Jubilee?”
