Dame Joan Collins hit back at Piers Morgan after he asked about her ‘toy boy rules’.

The 89-year-old actress and the outspoken presenter got onto the topic of dating rules after he asked her about Madonna apparently auditioning for a new lover.

During an interview on TalkTV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored, he said: ‘What about Madonna who is auditioning for a new boy toy?’

At first, Dame Joan laughed off the idea, adding: ‘You’re kidding! You’ve just made that up!’

The 57-year-old host replied: ‘No she’s apparently auditioning. She wants them to be hard bodied.’

The Dynasty actress then recalled a moment she was hanging out with Madonna’s son Rocco last summer when he brought up his famous mum’s dating restrictions.

She said: ‘We were with her son, Rocco, last summer and he said, “You know my mother says that she will not sleep with anybody over the age of 25!” I said, “No Rocco, you’re kidding.” ‘

Piers then wondered whether or not Dame Joan had a similar rule, but she instantly shut down the idea and reminded the host about her husband Percy Gibson.

She hit back: ‘I don’t have rules! Rules? I am very happily married, 20 years. You didn’t come to our anniversary party!’

Piers reminded her that he was in Australia when the party took place, and then pointed out Percy was actually in the studio waiting for her.

‘He’s lurking in the wings like a protective knight,’ he teased, while Dame Joan revealed he was actually her saviour at their party when he went to get a spare dress when her zip broke.

‘He saved me from the most embarrassing wardrobe malfunction,’ she said. ‘I was talking to Richard Arnold, your friend, and he was terribly funny, he made me laugh and the whole zipper in the back of my dress just went!’
