Euphoria star Dominic Fike has been criticised for comments about fantasising that Amber Heard is abusing him.
The actor said he fantasises about the ‘hot’ actress ‘beating’ him, with his comments going viral and making fans rather unsettled.
Fike, 26, made his revelation as the defamation trial between the Aquaman actress, 36, and ex husband Johnny Depp, and 58, reaches its final day.
The HBO star was performing for college students at Northwestern University when he made the controversial remarks, beginning: ‘Yo, I’m just gonna come straight out and say it. I’m gonna say it. I’m gonna be real with y’all.’
A TikTok user caught the whole thing on camera, with Fike adding that he thinks Heard is ‘hot.’
‘I don’t know. I know it’s not the popular opinion, and I know it’s not the focus at the moment, dude, but I’ve been having these visions of her,’ he added.
The rap-rock musician then clarified that Heard was ‘beating me up’ in these visions.
‘I think it’s hot,’ he concluded.
Footage of the moment has done the rounds on social media, with Twitter users vocalising their concern at the ‘disgusting’ comments.
One person branded his revelation ‘beyond sick and weird’ while another claimed ‘his career is over.’
‘Dominic fike I was rooting for you….. why would u think saying amber heard is hot and that you’d let her beat you is a good idea,’ one person tweeted.
Another penned: ‘if i were Dominic Fike i would have just minded my own business’
Twitter users continued to criticise Fike for ‘making light’ of and ‘romanticising’ domestic violence, following claims of abusive behaviour from both sides in the Depp v Heard trial.

The Pirates of the Caribbean film star sued Heard for $50million (£39m) in damages for his career and mental health following the publication of an op-ed in the Washington Post in 2018.
Heard claimed that she was a victim of domestic abuse in the piece, but did not name Depp.
