The newest batch of sexy singletons are just hours away from entering the Love Island villa, and we can’t wait to watch the drama unfold.

It’s not just us counting down the hours though, as the ITV reality dating programme manages to pull in some pretty famous faces (and no, we’re not just talking about footballer Michael Owen who will be tuning in to watch his daughter Gemma on the show this year).

We’ve already enjoyed seven series of Casa Amor chaos, love triangles, cheating bombshells and friendship fallouts, all narrated by Iain Stirling.

Now, with the first 10 contestants now officially revealed, we’re expecting even more, as, in the latest twist, Iain has revealed that viewers can actually vote for which guy and girl couple up at the start of the series.

The power is in the public’s hands, and we’re here for it, along with these 10 famous faces who just can’t get enough of the show.

Vanessa Hudgens

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens can’t wait for the show to launch, and recently revealed that she’s ‘hooked’ on Love Island and will definitely be ‘tuning in’.

The MTV Movie and TV awards host told PA news agency: ‘Love Island really had me hooked so I was there every single step of the way.

‘It’s just really interesting to see how people process things and how people identify love.

‘I’m definitely tuning in [on Monday]. I’m still here for it.

‘I want to watch everyone find love and watch it get messy along the way.’

Margot Robbie

There’s no bigger fan than one who plans a Love Island party, is there?

That’s exactly what Margot Robbie did, basing the theme of her 31st birthday party on the ITV show last year.

The Wolf of Wall Street actress and her friends posed for pictures shared to social media in an array of colourful bikinis and swimming costumes, with her pal tagging the location of the picture as Casa Amor.

Despite having been an avid viewer for years, the Suicide Squad actress admitted last year that she struggled to get too into it.

While being interviewed alongside her Suicide Squad co-star Idris Elba, Margot said on Lorraine that she ‘adores Love Island so much’, a love that she shares with the writer and director of the DC film, James Gunn.

‘He’s also a huge Love Island fan and we would talk about it all the time. We probably spoke about Love Island more than we spoke about this film when we were on set, we had our drink bottles on set,’ she said.

‘The current season, I haven’t really gotten into it yet, I’m struggling to get into it this season, but you know, it’s still early days and with the lag time of when you get the episodes in America, so I’m a little behind, but I adore it. I adore the show,’ she added.

Fingers crossed Margot’s more into it this year.

Chrissy Teigen

She may not have loved the show but Chrissy Teigen still binged it anyway (Picture: Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic)

Many of us spent lockdown binge-watching as many series as we could, and it seems Chrissy Teigen was no different.

The 36-year-old shared her thoughts on the winter edition of the show, from January 2020 – the season which gave us Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman’s iconic dance, and the heart-breaking moment where Callum Jones came back from Casa Amor with Molly Smith, leaving Shaughna Phillips on her own.

And while most of the nation loved all of the villa-filled drama, it appears Chrissy didn’t like it at all.

Apparently, she really hated it… but still binged it, of course.

Taking to Twitter she didn’t hold back as she said: ‘F***ing HATE this chick on love island. Won’t say what season but this makes me feel better.’

But Chrissy finally gave in as her fans quizzed her on which series she was referring to, she continued: ‘Ok fine it’s the newest season UK.’

She added: ‘Love Island: doyouknowwhatthoughlike doyouknowwhatthoughlike doyouknowwhatthoughlike doyouknowwhatthoughlike doyouknowwhatthoughlike doyouknowwhatthoughlike.’

Lots to say for someone who really doesn’t like Love Island…

Amy Schumer

Love Island legend Maura Higgins came out of the villa with a massive superfan… comedian Amy Schumer.

Amy jumped on board the Love Island train and gave a shout out to Maura, her ‘homie’.

‘I’m loving this season of Love Island,’ said Amy.

‘I want to give a shout out to Maura. She’s just like my homie, I feel very connected to her.’

Richard Curtis

In perhaps the biggest shock to the nation, Notting Hill creator Richard Curtis is also a massive fan of Love Island, and of Maura too.

‘I am quite fond of Lucie [Donlan] even though she’s becoming a complicated cup of tea,’ Richard told Metro.co.uk.

‘Maura is just hilarious,’ the 65-year-old added. ‘There were three people in the Garden of Eden and she reminds me of the snake, do you know what I mean?’

He continued: ‘I think Danny [Williams] seems sweet, but it’s a great year. I couldn’t be more excited.’

As someone who has spent his life’s work trying to convey the emotions of romance – love, lust, jealousy – Richard said the reason Love Island inspires such passion from him is simply because ‘you get to watch it happen’.

A big fan of Montana Brown from 2017 and Dani Dyer from 2018, Richard added: ‘You see all those moments I try and write about that you have felt and talk to your friends about and you watch it in progress –  the jealousy and the changes in heart and mind.

‘I find it absolutely intriguing and funny.’

Millie Bobby Brown

Who knew these two were pals? (Picture: WireImage; PA)

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is a huge fan of Love Island, so big in fact that she once slid into Dani Dyer’s DMs.

Revealing the secret on Capital FM, Dani read out a text from a listener, saying:  ‘So hello to Mark who says “Dan, who’s the most famous person to slide in to your DMs since leaving the villa?” Easy answer – Millie Bobby Brown. The girl actually watches Love Island.’

Dani relayed her shock at being contacted, before confessing that the two then made lunch plans: ‘I couldn’t believe it! I was like, “Oh my god, Eleven!” Yeah, I did freak out a little bit,’ she said. ‘But apparently we are going for a little bit of lunch soon, so yeah, I’m looking forward to that.’

The year later, Millie tuned in to Love Island again, and shared all our reactions when Anna Vakili was left dumped by Jordan Hames after he returned from Casa Amor with India Reynolds.

Alongside a clip of Anna and Jordan’s explosive argument, Millie shared on her Instagram stories: ‘Anna: Jordan is playing you girl go be with Ovie and India should be with Jordan….

‘Omg Im quaking… Anna u are too good for him okurrrr [sic].’

When a Hollywood star has time to catch up with Love Island, it must be serious.

Lena Dunham

Team Maura had another celeb fan as Lena Dunham fell under the Love Island spell.

During the 2019 series, The Girls star has professed her love for Maura Higgins, following the Irish girl’s decimation of Tom Walker, in what was one of the show’s most iconic moments yet.

The 28-year-old – who proved that sexual confidence doesn’t equal consent – kicked Tom to the kerb after hearing that he had described her as ‘cringey, OTT and attention-seeking’ in a conversation with Jordan.

And Lena loved it.

Sharing an image of Maura’s face on the Virgin Mary’s body, the 33-year-old tweeted: ‘For you folks in the UK who are binging on @LoveIsland like me, like Maura, I want a partner who can match me, not a coward who thinks I’m OTT, cringey and an attention seeker!

‘Team Maura! #loveisland (art by Aisling Bea).’

Jack Grealish

Last year, England ace Jack Grealish admitted he’s a ‘big fan’ of the show too.

The Euro 2020 star, who was signed to Manchester City for a record-breaking fee of £100million, was seen discussing last year’s series in a teaser clip of Inside City, the ultimate behind-the-scenes look at life inside an English Premier League Club.

‘You’ve got your little Love Island cup there haven’t ya?’ Jack said to an unidentified woman, who was stood out of shot of the camera.

‘I mean, I don’t watch Love Island, so…,’ the woman replied, prompting Jack to declare: ‘Hey, I’m a big fan.’

Paul Chuckle

Paul Chuckle, the Chucklevision star whose iconic shows with his late brother Barry will forever hold a place in our hearts, is actually a fan of Love Island.

Nobody saw that one coming.

Not only did he live-tweet his reactions during the 2018 series, where he gave a little dig at Georgia Steele, but he actually made his own audition tape.

Yep, you read that right.

In the clip, Paul, looking very villa-ready with some sunnies on, say’s he’s looking for a girl with a ‘perfect smile’.

He added that he’s looking for somewhere for a holiday, ‘better than Cleethorpes or Barnsley’, and insisted his ‘keg’ is better than ‘most of the guys who go in with a six-pack’.

Paris Hilton

The Queen of reality TV herself is also a fan of Love Island (Picture: Rob Latour/REX/Shutterstock)

The Queen of reality TV herself, Paris Hilton keeps up with Love Island, and even praised 2018 winners Dani and Jack Fincham, who both slept outside during Casa Amor as an act of loyalty to one another.

Taking to Twitter, the socialite wrote: ‘Jack & Dani are goals!’ alongside a love heart emoji.

She even wrote that she hoped Laura Anderson would find love with semi-professional footballer Jack Fowler.

One fan had Tweeted Paris: ‘Well Paris Laura really deserves happiness and I’m glad she’s getting along with new Jack,’ to which Paris responded: ‘Me to hope they couple up!’

Last year, Paris made Love Island headlines again, after it was revealed she had blocked Chloe Burrows, for some unknown reason.

Chloe, 25, had confessed to the other girls that she loves Paris, 40, but knows she is blocked as she can’t see any of her tweets: ‘I’m blocked by Paris Hilton and I don’t even know why. I love her. Blocked. On Twitter I can’t see any of her tweets or anything.’

She added: ‘I love her. I really don’t think I’d ever have done anything, but obviously I did.’

Love Island launches on Monday, June 6 at 9pm on ITV.
