Matt Damon’s cringey crypto ad is the butt of the joke in latest hilarious South Park episode-Ruth Lawes-Entertainment – Metro
It’s difficult not to laugh at this one.

Matt Damon is the latest celebrity to be at the receiving end of South Park’s acerbic sense of humour.
The adult cartoon series took a swipe at the Oscar winning actor’s cringey cryptocurrency advert in its latest made-for-TV film, South Park The Streaming Wars Part 2.
In Matt’s widely mocked commercial, the 51-year-old is seen talking to the camera comparing buying crypto to humankind’s greatest achievements, like landing on the moon.
The Manchester By the Sea actor then trots out the now immortal line: ‘Fortune favours the brave.’
Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s show takes aim at the awful yet hilarious ad by having a toon of Matt front an equally ill-thought-out campaign.
The plot of the South Park two-parter follows evil Pi P, who schemes to swap all of Denver’s water with his own supply – which is contaminated with urine.

Titled The Streaming Wars, South Park is clearly making a barbed comment on the abundance of on demand platforms, like Netflix and Amazon Prime.
And Pi Pi’s dastardly plans look set to become realised when he enlists the help of Matt to flog the pee water in a style very reminiscent of his crypto ad.
Wearing a black t-shirt emblazoned with ‘Fortune Favors Matt’, Matt extols the virtues of the pee water and is seen not only watering his plants with it, but also taking a shower in the urine. Yuck.

‘Fortune favours the brave,’ Matt says. ‘And a brave person knows pasta cooked in pee water tastes just fine.’
‘Did you know frozen pee can make for a deliciously summer treat,’ he continues as he gags while trying to take a bite of an ice cream.

Matt is not the only famous face who got a skewering in the Paramount Plus film, with Gwyneth Paltrow drinking a cup full of pee and Reese Witherspoon bobbing for apples in a barrel of the stuff.
No thanks.
Parts one and two of South Park The Streaming Wars are available to watch on Paramount Plus.
