Angelina Jolie and daughter Zahara returned to the Vatican seven years after their famous visit to the holy city.

The pair were spotted on Wednesday in the Italian city-state, which is surrounded by Rome, taking in Vatican Museums together and enjoying some mother-daughter time.

The 47-year-old actress looked Summery in a white dress, sunglasses and beige slippers while Zahara, 17, wore a brown T-shirt, a black miniskirt and white trainers.

The pair were pictured heading down the steps outside the museum accompanied by their bodyguard and a tour guide after the tour.

Zahara, who is the third eldest of the six children Angelina shares with estranged ex-husband Brad Pitt – with the pair also parents to Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Shiloh, 16, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 14 – and was adopted from an orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia by the pair in 2005, is often seen enjoying one-on-one dates with her famous mother.

Last month, the pair were pictured walking hand in hand on a shopping trip without the other children in Los Angeles.

It’s also the second time the pair has visited the Vatican together.

The Maleficent star and UN special envoy famously took Zahara and Shiloh to meet with Pope Francis briefly after screening her film Unbroken to some Vatican officials and ambassadors in 2015.

The Vatican said at the time that the trio were on hand at the Pontifical Academy for Sciences to screen the film, which tells the story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic track star whose B-24 bomber crashed in the Pacific during World War II.

He and two crewmates survived on a raft for 47 days, only to be captured by the Japanese.

Angelina, who is also mother to adopted sons Maddox and Pax, who were born in Cambodia and Vietnam respectively,  flew to Italy earlier this month to direct a role on upcoming film Without Blood in Rome,

She and her daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt also had a mother-daughter date in the city as they took in pop group Måneskin’s gig on July 9.

The pair were seen among the excited crowd, both dressed in black as they watched Damiano David and co. work the stage.

Angelina also recently celebrated her twins Knox and Vivienne’s 14th birthday in the Italian capital, with Brad Brad – who is currently on the press tour for his latest film Bullet Train – also photographed arriving in the city.

The exes were married in August 2014, with Angelina filing for divorce in September 2016 after two years married and nine years together.
