Chuck Lorre has filed for divorce from his wife, Arielle Lorre, after three years of marriage.

The Big Bang Theory creator tied the knot with the wellness influencer in October, 2018.

However, according to reports, the pair have called time on their relationship and are set to go their separate ways.

‘It is with mutual consideration and respect that we have decided to separate,’ a joint statement read.

‘Our plan is to move forward in different directions but with great love, admiration and gratitude for the time we shared.

‘We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time,’ the message, shared with Variety, concluded. ‘Thank you for your support.’

Court documents obtained by TMZ states that the couple ended their relationship in May of this year, and the TV icon cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ in the papers.

The 69-year-old – who also created Two And A Half Men, Cybil and Dharma & Greg – will reportedly pay spousal support and attorney’s fees, following a pre-nup they both signed.

Arielle made a name for herself on Instagram and boasts a following of more than 280,000, thanks to her wellness posts and the snippets of her life she shares on the platform.

She also helms her own podcast, The Blonde Files, which she claims is ‘wellness stuff without the bs’.
