Lil Duval is in surprisingly high spirits despite suffering nasty injuries following an auto crash in the Bahamas.

The 45-year-old comedian was airlifted to hospital in nearby Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday after a car crashed into him ‘at full speed’ while he was driving an ATV in Nassau.

Despite his horrific ordeal, Lil Duval – real name Roland Powell – has continued to update concerned followers on his condition with several photos and videos on Instagram.

In one clip, the Wild N Out star is seen being stretchered from an ambulance to a waiting helicopter surrounded by several paramedics.

He wrote in the caption: ‘Somebody hit me in they car while i was on my 4 wheeler. Now my leg broke and i gotta get flown over to nassau and have surgery.’

Duval added in a tweet: ‘I appreciate everybody checking up on me but if you call and I don’t pick up don’t take it the wrong way. I’m really f*k up and can’t move cuz I’m in so much pain.’

After making it to the hospital, the actor filmed himself having his leg drilled while being surrounded by doctors. However, despite the painful procedure, Duval remained his upbeat self and even sang his hit single Smile (Living My Best Life) which amused the doctors.

‘They really drilling my knee bruh. 😫😫😫😫😫😫 Why they ain’t put me to sleep?’ he quipped in the caption.

One video showed a woman standing over Duval and kindly showering him with motivational words.

In a statement, a rep for the Guy Code star told TMZ: ‘Lil Duval was involved in a vehicular accident where a motor vehicle ran into him while riding a 4-wheeler.

‘This accident resulted into a broken hip alongside mild injuries.

‘He is in stable condition and is currently being airlifted again, from Nassau to Jacksonville, FL in order to be treated at a local hospital with the capabilities and equipment available to conduct the recommended surgical procedures for recovery.’

Duval revealed the doctors were shocked that he suffered no internal bleeding despite being ‘hit by a car going full speed’. In addition to the broken hip, Duval has a nasty gash above his left eyebrow which will likely scar.

He was bombarded with well wishes from fans and his celebrity friends, with Kevin Hart writing: ‘Praying for you champ…Get well immediately.’

Rapper T.I. said: ‘Maaaaaan I’m gon pray that you get well first. Then find it in yo heart to sitcho old a** down somewhere & rest big bro…. Amen.’

Singer Monica said: ‘Thanking God for his covering , over your life , your mind and ability to find joy in all things ! You’re a rare breed ! We love you !!!!’
