Sinitta has reportedly signed up for the new series of Celebs Go Dating.

The 58-year-old pop star, who previously dated music mogul Simon Cowell on and off for 20 years, is ‘excited’ to find love on the hit Channel 4 show.

This wouldn’t be the first time Sinitta has appeared on the reality show, as she appeared in Celebrity First Dates Stand Up To Cancer back in 2017, but was unfortunately snubbed by her date.

However, it looks like she’s not letting the experience dampen her spirits, as she’s ready to give it a proper try, according to reports.

‘Her date didn’t know who she was and she was left a little red faced – but it hasn’t put her off signing up again,’ a source said.

‘She wants a man who can sweep her off her feet and is hoping that the producers can find her some decent blokes,’ the insider added to The Sun.

If this is the case, Sinitta will be handing her love life over to dating agents Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson alongside client coordinator Tom Read Wilson.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon and Sinitta have remained good pals since the demise of their on-again/off-again relationship.

Sinitta was also linked to Hollywood actor Brad Pitt during the 80s and British singer David Essex.

The singer previously insisted she’d never come between Simon’s family after his son Eric was born in 2014.

When she was asked when she and Simon ‘finally called it quits’ Sinitta told New Magazine: ‘There was always an element of “well, it’s never really over.”

‘But when Eric was born that was it. I would never come between his family.

‘[Lauren] and I were best friends. I’m really happy for them, but it was hard and caused a fallout.’

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Sinitta and Celebs Go Dating for comment.

Celebs Go Dating is available to stream in full on All 4.
