A newsreader has left viewers in their own fits of laughter after he couldn’t hold back a burst of giggles while presenting what appeared to be a live news report.

But while brightening up everyone’s day with a video that’s gone viral, he’s actually duped them into thinking his hilarious ‘live’ broadcast is real.

The news report began: ‘And now a 57-year-old man who was caught speeding at almost 200km per hour a couple of months ago, refused to pay his speeding fine, claiming that everything he does is fast.

‘According to the man, he eats fast, he sleeps fast, he drives fast, he reads fast, am he even walks fast.

‘When he had to appear in court today, he explained the same thing to a Western Cape judge, who replied: “Let’s see how fast you can do six months in prison.”‘

It was at this point that the ‘newsreader’ could no longer hold back his laughter, bursting out into a fit of contagious giggles as he read the judges’ comments.

Midway through his laughter, he added: ‘My apologies, I can’t imagine that judge in court saying “let’s see how fast you can do that six months in prison,” what a way!’

Viewers were left in hysterics as they watched the ‘newsreader’ erupt into laughter, but it’s not actually what they think it is.

Turns out, Youtuber Mistur Ghee creates videos and TikToks of news reports like these, and his infectious laughter is enough to put a smile on anyone’s face.
