Falcon and Winter Soldier: Will there be season 2? Sebastian Stan spills the tea on phone call with Marvel boss Kevin Feige

Falcon and The Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan has spoken about the possibility of the Marvel series returning for season 2, recalling chat he shared with Marvel boss Kevin Feige about its future.

Ever since Falcon and The Winter Soldier launched on Disney Plus, MCU fans have been left in awe by the action-packed show, with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) chasing after the Flag-Smashers with Baron Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl) in tow.

Even before the MCU series comes to an end – with only two episodes remaining – fans have been questioning whether it could return with even more layers to the story, after the launch of other Marvel releases including Loki and Hawkeye.

During a recent interview, Sebastian addressed the speculation of a potential season two, with the actor being asked if he has heard about anything of the sort.

‘No, we have not, and I’ll tell you that honestly, we have not. As per usual, I don’t quite know what the next step is. We never really do. Maybe some people do, maybe [Robert] Downey [Jr] used to know, I don’t know,’ he said.

Nonetheless, Sebastian has told Marvel Studios president Kevin that he would be willing to ‘do anything’ if Falcon and The Winter Soldier were to be renewed, he told Collider.

‘I got on the phone with him just to catch up, and I was saying to him, “Dude, you could f***ing tell me to go swim under[water], I’ll do anything.” It doesn’t matter. Or if this is it, my heart is just as big,’ he stated.

One of the most entertaining aspects of Falcon and The Winter Soldier has been witnessing the competitive relationship between Bucky and Sam play out on screen, with the pair constantly ribbing each other while also remaining fixated on their mission.

In episode three, the pair share a moment that harped back to Captain America: Civil War, when Sam refused to move his car seat up for Bucky, who was sitting in the back.

In the Marvel series, the roles are reversed, with Bucky refusing to move up while sitting in the front seat next to Zemo after their trip to Madripoor.

Oh, you two.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is available to watch on Disney Plus with new episodes released on Fridays.
