Reading and Leeds 2022 is just around the corner with thousands of music fans gearing up for a weekend of live music.

Last year saw Reading and Leeds return after being forced to cancel its 2020 festival due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Festival-goers were finally reunited with their tents, the traditionally bad British weather and a slew of stellar performances live on stage from the likes of Stormzy and Liam Gallagher.

And this year has a similarly star-studded line-up with a range of performances planned from the likes of The 1975, Dave, and Arctic Monkeys.

Counting down the days until you can enjoy a drink in a field with your friends? Here’s everything you need to know about Reading and Leeds Festival 2022:

This year’s Reading and Leeds will see headline sets from Dave, Megan Thee Stallion, Arctic Monkeys, Bring Me The Horizon, Halsey, and the recently-announced The 1975 replacing Rage Against The Machine after the California rockers pulled out of their slot.

The group cancelled their upcoming UK and European dates due to a leg injury suffered by vocalist Zach de la Rocha.

The band confirmed the cancellations on their official Twitter account, telling fans: ‘Per medical guidance, Zack De La Rocha has been advised that the August and September 2022 UK and European leg of the Rage Against The Machine tour cannot proceed.
