Coleen Rooney has reportedly landed a multi-million pound deal with Disney Plus to go ahead with a documentary over the highly publicised Wagatha Christie trial.

In October 2019, Rooney, 36, conducted a sting operation and claimed to find that the false stories she had planted about herself were only seen by Rebekah Vardy’s private Instagram account.

Despite the judge citing concrete evidence that Vardy was the source of the leak, the mother-of-five has vehemently denied this.

On Friday July 29, the TV personality won her libel trial against Vardy which was dubbed Wagatha Christie.

According to reports, Rooney has signed a deal with the streaming platform to showcase the feature-length.

A source shared: ‘This is a massive deal for Coleen — in every sense. Since her first damning social media post outing Rebekah, she has remained steadfastly silent.’

‘She is also getting across her own side of the story in terms of Wagatha Christie,’ the insider added to The Sun.

Days after the ruling, Vardy, 40, addressed the verdict in her first TV interview and dismissed rumours that she is struggling to pay what could be extremely substantial legal fees after she lost the case.

Asked about having to deal with the bill, she insisted it does not worry her ‘at all’.

‘Legal fees will be dealt with privately the way they should be,’ she said, adding: ‘There shouldn’t be any gloating to do with finances.’

’She continued: ‘I’ve taken a decision not to read anything.

‘And if I do, or if it’s pointed out to me, I learn something new every day about myself, that we’re meant to be doing or that we’ve done.’

In the same interview, the TV personality addressed claims that Rooney’s lawyers had tried to settle the case out of court.

Giving her view, she told the host: ‘If that’s their version of events, I wouldn’t class that as any form of olive branch.’

‘To me, that is not the way it went at all,’ she said.
