I wanted a cute dress to wear for my 32nd birthday so got a New Look haul… it was a complete fail & made me feel so old

SHE thought New Look would be a good bet when it came to finding a dress for her 32nd birthday celebrations.

But Lauren Edge was left sorely disappointed, when ALL of the dresses she’d ordered from the high street store were a no.

Lauren Edge’s New Look haul didn’t start well – with this dress that she was literally busting out ofitslaurenedge

This one was quite boring from the frontitslaurenedge

But had a cute bow detail at the backitslaurenedge

“This has never happened before,” Lauren declared, as she said she felt too old to wear this oneitslaurenedge

“It’s my birthday on Sunday and what does every girl deserve on her birthday? A new dress!” Lauren began her video on TikTok.

“The reasons I’ve gone for New Look is that they’ve always got lots of material, quite generous, stretchy – we’re going out for a meal so I want something that’s comfy and that’s going to have lots of room so I can fill my belly with pasta.

“And I’ve gone for florals, so let’s get started.”

First up was a pink floral number with a milkmaid-style top, which Lauren acknowledged wasn’t “ideal for the girls”.

“We’re half hanging out,” she said.

“We’ve got a lovely bra on but we don’t really want to see it.

“But yeah, great for someone with a smaller chest.

“I’ve got Js, so… you know, probably fit in the minority.”

Next, Lauren tried on a mustard floral dress, which had a cute bow tie backless detail.

“What do we think?” she mused as she looked in the mirror.

“I mean, looks like my Nanna’s nightie, but love the back… the back’s the nicest part about this dress.

“I mean, if there was something more up here it would be really nice.

“But it’s a bit f**king boring and I’m looking to stand out because it’s my birthday.”

The third dress was more of a minidress, and Lauren said she’d ordered it in both a size 16 and 18 as there wasn’t much give in the fabric.

“It’s a bit see through, and it’s a bit f**king boring, to be honest,” a clearly unimpressed Lauren said.

“So it’s a no from me.”

The next dress, Lauren admitted she had “no idea” why she’d bought, as it was a halterneck, and she can’t wear a halterneck with no bra.

She was hoping for success with the final dress option, which featured a cute tier and ruffled details.

“This has never happened to me before,” she said.

“I’ve never ordered something in my life, looked at it, put it on and realised I’m too old to wear it.

“This would look lovely on a younger person but I’m going to be 32.

“And that makes me really sad that I’m nearly 32 and I’ve bought a dress and can’t wear it, because I’m too old.
