Lorraine Kelly got a bit hot under the collar as she spoke to George Clooney and Julia Roberts about a raunchy scene in their upcoming movie.

The two Hollywood icons star in Ticket to Paradise and play two divorced parents who travel to Bali to stop their daughter Lily’s (Kaitlyn Dever) marriage.

The My Best Friend’s Wedding star and George appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Lorraine to discuss the romcom, which sees the warring former couple make steps to reconciliation.

After commenting on the actors’ long working relationship, which has seen Julia star alongside George, as well as being directed and produced by him, the 62-year-old brought up a scene in which the pair steal a kiss.

Describing the smooch as a ‘wee kissing scene’, George suppressed a giggle and jokingly commented: ‘That’s a strange phrase though, “a wee kissing scene”. I mean what time is this show on?!’

The group burst into laughter with the Burn After Reading actor continuing: ‘You’ve [Lorraine] just turned red!’

Struggling to keep her cool, Lorraine carried on interviewing the two A-listers, announcing: ‘I have actually gone bright red, but that’s okay. I’m being very calm and very cool.’

Julia then confessed: ‘It’s hard to be like that in front of George Clooney, isn’t it?’

The 61-year-old responded: ‘I don’t want to get into it but I was a two-time sexiest man alive.’

Lorraine bantered: ‘They must’ve stopped you being in it, because it isn’t fair!’

George added: ‘Well they had to get like pretty boy [Brad] Pitt, [he] had to get in a couple of times. He runs a good campaign.’

Lorraine then asked about a scene in which George strips off in an ‘incident with a dolphin’, quickly adding it was ‘very much part of the plot.’

Julia replied: ‘Between the wee kissing and now this, she’s [Lorraine] really giving a lot of impressions of our film.’

George joked: You don’t do those kinds of things once you pass 60, so we did it very quickly!’

The Metro reviewed Ticket To Paradise, and awarded the movie three out of five stars.

Reviewer Larushka Ivan-Zadeh said: ‘Kind of like Mamma Mia! without the ABBA, it’s another cross-generational, exotic-locale romance from British director Ol Parker (Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again).’

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV
