Ashley James is expecting her second child

Ashley James has shared the exciting news that she’s pregnant with her second child.

The Made In Chelsea star is already a mother to son Alfie, born in January 2021, who she shares with boyfriend Tom Andrews.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Ashley, 35, shared a sweet video of her pregnancy journey so far, including holding up her positive pregnancy test and going for baby scans.

One clip shows her cradling her bare baby bump and sharing a warm family hug with Tom and Alfie.

The footage is soundtracked to a baby voice ‘introducing’ themselves to the world and detailing their growth progress in the uterus.

Ashley captioned the video: ‘We have some news…!

‘I’m excited and nervous to share in equal measure… Baby number 2 coming in 2023. 🤰🏼’

She added: ‘This audio makes me cry every single time! A little update will be coming on my podcast which will be relaunched tomorrow! 💖’

Kate Thornton and Sarah Jayne Dunn were among the stars leading the stream of congratulations, while Georgia Kousoulou and Jess Impiazi were among Ashley’s other celebrity pals to pass on their well wishes.

Ashley gave birth to her baby boy Alfie, now 20 months old, on January 9, six days after their original due date.

Announcing the happy news on Instagram at the time, the former Celebrity Big Brother star shared pictures of her little one’s tiny feet and wrote: ‘I just wanted to let you all know that on Saturday 9th January we welcomed our son to the world. He’s a very healthy 9.5 pounds, and Snoop is already being the best big brother.

‘I cannot wait to introduce him to you all properly, and share my journey with you, but for now we’re just getting to know him and focusing on keeping him safe in this crazy world. We’re both well and recovering.’

‘Massive thank you to our amazing team of midwives at Chelsea & Westminster for bringing him safely into the world. I love our NHS,’ she concluded.
