Rhea Ripley has admitted she loves getting under WWE fans’ skin with her wild antics on Raw.

The Judgment Day star – who is having an absolute blast working with Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio – is often a hot topic of conversation on social media after the shows, whether it’s because she’s been calling herself Dom’s ‘papi’, or beating up his dad Rey.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk about her antics and the reaction online, she laughed: ‘Oh I’ve seen! Being a menace is the one thing I really enjoy doing, so I’m loving every second of it picking on everyone.’

She admitted she ‘relishes’ the chance to manipulate the fans to get a reaction, and seeing the response just eggs her on to keep developing the persona on screen.

She added: ‘A lot, I guess! I mean, i relish in it, I really do. I enjoy every second – especially knowing how worked up everyone’s gonna be about it. That just drives me to being more of a menace in a way! [laughs] But yeah, I love what I do, I am enjoying it!’

A key reason behind the Judgment Day’s success thus far is the chemistry between the performers, particularly with the original trio of Finn, Rhea and Damian.

Although the former Raw Women’s Champion had been vocal in public about wanting to work with the Archer of Infamy – who she’s good friends with – it wasn’t something she’d pitched directly to WWE’s creative team.

‘I think it was just creative [coming up with it]. I don’t know if they’ve seen interviews that we’ve done online – I don’t know if they really look at that stuff, ’cause we’ve both talked about it when we’ve had interviews,’ she explained.

‘But at least I know I haven’t brought it up to them at all – I don’t know if Priest did, but I didn’t. I think it was just a happy accident, really.’

There is a bond there between the members of the group, while Priest and Ripley – who want to work together in inter-gender tag bouts in the future – have been close for a long time.

‘It’s insane. I get along with them boys so well – even Priest, we’ve been friends for so long now. We’ve always talked about wanting to do an inter-gender tag match together, we are so similar,’ she said.

‘I wore the dude’s gear when I lost my gear, that’s how similar we are! It’s really cool being in a group with them boys, and just going out there and actually having fun and doing our thing! It’s great.’

WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1. Extreme Rules takes place on Saturday, October 8 at the Wells Fargo Centre, Philadelphia. Tune in via the WWE Network or BT Sport Box Office.
