Katherine Ryan steals Molly Mae Hague’s pregnancy style and, fair play, they both completely nail it -Kim Novak-Entertainment – Metro

Katherine Ryan has taken style inspiration from Molly Mae Hague after the Love Island star revealed she was pregnant at the same time as the comedian. 

The comedian and TV star, 39, is currently expecting her third baby, a year after welcoming her son Fred with husband Bobby Kootstra and is also mum to daughter Violet, 13, from a previous relationship. 

Molly Mae, 23, also revealed this week that she is over five months pregnant with her first baby with boyfriend Tommy Fury, also 23, and has shared several snaps of her bump since. 

Katherine took to TikTok to emulate the Love Island star’s style, telling her followers: ‘Today I decided I should probably start dressing like Molly Mae who is also pregnant.’

The comic then revealed she had bought a few pairs of grey leggings to emulate the reality star, adding: ‘I saw she had a cute khaki puffer jacket, it’s from Weekday but it’s mostly sold out so I found a similar one on eBay from Zara.’

Modelling the jacket over her new leggings, Katherine joked: ‘It was £30 I think and wait – is that Molly Mae already?’

She then completed the look with a baseball cap, adding: ‘I stole my husband’s hat for this look because he got me pregnant in the first place.’

Showing off her boots, Louis Vuitton holdall and matching scarf, Katherine added: ‘She pairs high street with designer pieces so I did the same and now I am a beautiful Love Island princess.’

She joked in the caption: ‘I am Molly Mae now,’ to which former Love Island host Laura Whitmore added: ‘Uncanny’.

Katherine revealed she was expecting her third child in July, revealing on her podcast, Katherine Ryan: Telling Everybody Everything: ‘You guys know I’m pregnant, I’ve been pregnant for a while and here’s how I did that. 

‘I got pregnant while breastfeeding the first time I tried and to be honest with you I don’t think it’s going to work because I’m 39 – I would have been 38 when I got pregnant.

‘And I thought “we’ve got to get the kids out of the way.” You never know how long you’re gonna have and I love my kids. I just thought, “well let’s go for it.”’

Molly Mae had revealed she was pregnant earlier in the week after hiding it for five months, telling fans: ‘Strangely… no. It wasn’t [hard to hide the pregnancy].

‘I set myself a goal to get to 5 months without people knowing and I really didn’t think I would get that far… but we actually went past that point!

‘It was so special having it as mine and Tommy’s secret – I also have some amazing secret keeping friends/family too.’

She also revealed that she’s been ‘insanely lucky’ to not have suffered from any morning sickness, adding: ‘I was able to keep working and living life as usual which really helped me to keep it a secret. 

‘I know a lot of women experience such horrendous sickness through pregnancy and my heart truly goes out to them because I can imagine it’s just awful.’
