Love Island star Paige Thorne has returned for her first shift back as a paramedic since leaving the villa.

The Welsh reality star finished in fifth place in the ITV2 dating show earlier this summer, leaving the villa with now-boyfriend Adam Collard.

But despite accumulating over one million Instagram followers and being inundated with influencer opportunities after the show ended, Paige was determined to get back to her day job.

She had to put life as a paramedic on hold upon entering the Majorcan villa, but now she’s out she’s going to be picking up shifts and working with her old colleagues again.

The TV personality shared a video of her putting her uniform back on for the first time, admitting she was ‘nervous’ after having so much time away, but also ‘super excited.’

‘So, as you can see I’m back in my uniform, I’m about to be doing my first shift back. A little part of me is nervous because it’s been so long since I’ve been off, but more than anything, I’m super excited to be back, back with my team, back doing what I absolutely love, what I’m passionate about, what I’m comfortable with, I just know it’s gonna be a great shift,’ she said on Instagram, before ‘touching wood’ for good luck.

Paige then filmed herself arriving back at her ‘station’ and saying hello to her teammates, joking with them that she’s going to be filming them constantly now.

In a third video, the paramedic shared what’s in her bag, saying the essentials were the ‘bread and butter’ for working on shift as a medic.

The kit included oxygen, medicines, and cannulations, which she assured her fans is ‘everything you need’ to get the job done.

Paige previously spoke about having major ‘FOMO’ (fear of missing out) after leaving Love Island and hearing ambulances drive past, saying it had her itching to get back to it.

She’ll have a choice of paramedic shifts to pick up, though, as she also takes on influencing opportunities, such as her clothing collection with Forever Unique.

As for her relationship with bombshell Adam, there were reports of the loved-up pair being on the rocks after rumours of Adam cheating surfaced.

It was reported that the official pair were on a ‘break’ despite Geordie lad Adam denying being unfaithful.

But, the pair were spotted holding hands just days ago, and Paige had a beaming smile on her face, so it seems she’s paying no mind to online speculation.
