Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood was entirely distracted from Matt Goss’s dancing skills by his ‘tight white trousers’, he admitted.

The singer, who is paired with Nadiya Bychkova, did the Samba to Night Fever by the Bee Gees, and managed to scoop 22 points for his performance.

‘Thank you for bringing the disco vibes to the ballroom,’ presenter Tess Daly began after the dance, adding: ‘And I know it was your dream to recreate that iconic John Travolta moment.’

‘It was… I tried,’ an out-of-breath Matt replied.

‘Matt you have that groove about you, that style, there’s something just extra, extra, that you just have that shines through,’ judge Motsi Mabuse began with the comments.

And while Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas also stuck to commenting on his dance moves, Craig was a bit distracted.

‘Well I was slightly distracted through the whole thing darling by those very, tight white trousers which you’ve unleashed on the nation,’ Craig said.

He continued: ‘You’ve certainly grooved out the disco stuff, you do need to work on your samba technique, but well done!’

Despite the distraction though, Craig only gifted Matt four points, with the other judges handing over six each.

Meanwhile, Anton claimed the Matt’s moves were ‘magical’, after practicing his own thrusting skills, having taken inspiration from Matt on the dance floor.

Elsewhere in tonight’s second live show of this year’s monumental Strictly series, Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice incorporated Beyoncé choreography into their quickstep.

Radio presenter Richie and his Italian pro dazzled across the ballroom floor to Dancin’ Fool by Barry Manilow, donning sparkly jackets and top hats, well and truly giving the performance their all.

And ‘their all’ included everything from cartwheels to Beyoncé choreography from her iconic Single Ladies music video, which everyone was obsessed with.

’10 for the Beyoncé move alone,’ one viewer at home tweeted.

‘That was incredible! Never put a foot wrong and just enjoyed it from start to finish! I loved the single ladies in the middle too,’ another wrote.

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One.
